08.01.2022 Lest We Forget.

08.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask

05.01.2022 Dear Carlisle Families, There are many children and adults that will spend this Christmas without celebrating like many of us do. Each year Carlisle assists the ADRA Op shop by collecting items for under our Christmas tree located in the School Office. ADRA has asked this year for non-perishable food items including Christmas food to help with the hampers they will be putting together.... For example: Custard (not refrigerated) Cakes/puddings Tin fruit Soft drink/Cordial Biscuits Or anything else that you think someone would enjoy this Christmas. The idea is great, but we need your help. To launch our Collection, a tree will be put up in our office from Monday 16th November by some very helpful students. And we will be collecting items through to Friday November 27. If you are able to give, could you please bring an item and place it under the Christmas tree. HAPPINESS DOESN’T RESULT FROM WHAT WE GET, BUT FROM WHAT WE GIVE - BEN CARSON
