20.01.2022 Today is R U OK? day in Australia. This is the day that you are encouraged to ask those who you meet, or members of your family and friendship group 'Are You ok?' With the hope that these few words can assist our vulnerable people. It's easy to just say the words without really listening to the answer. The key is to really listen to what is being said. The key is to "Just BE a MATE" ... So many of us go through life 'soldiering on' and putting on a brave face, convincing the world that all is ok when it is not. Don't forget to ask your friends if they are ok, especially remember the parents in our autism community, who face additional challenges in raising their children, sometimes they just need a friendly smile, or a chat, anything, just to know that they are not alone. So today, I ask.....R U Ok? :)
