24.01.2022 Every journey is unique. Learning from others definitely helps you shortcut many processes, model their approaches and find the nuggets you can apply to your situation but don't try to be just like them. Be YOU, embrace your uniqueness and live your own journey!

24.01.2022 Expecting others to live their life by your own values and beliefs is setting yourself up for disappointment... ... everyone has their own journey and stories that have shaped their values and beliefs. Likewise if you make your decisions based on others values and beliefs rather than your own, you're setting yourself up for a life of feeling unfulfilled...... ... Take the time to define who you are, who you truly want to be.

16.01.2022 As the saying goes "Revenue is vanity. Profit is sanity. Cashflow is reality" and yet far too many business owners get caught up chasing revenues. Let me ask you this, would you rather own a business doing $1 Million dollars in revenue with a 10% profit margin... or a $500k revenue company with a 50% profit margin? I'll save you the math... Option A is $100k in your pocket. Option B is $250k in your pocket!

15.01.2022 Future focused thinking is a powerful skill in business, but it can easily get in the way of living a happy and fulfilling life. Take some time out and just BE in this moment right now. The future will always be there, this moment won't be.

15.01.2022 Business and life is so often filled with complexity. Things that should be simple and easy end up overcomplicated and hard. What's one thing you'd like to simplify in your business or life?

15.01.2022 This! If someone wants to buy, and your solution matches their desire. Let them buy. You don't need funnels and forms and hoops. That's for people where either they or you aren't sure it's a good fit yet. What's a hoop you can remove from your sales process?

09.01.2022 "Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid" This is one of my favourite quotes... are you clear on what your personal genius is?

06.01.2022 Who do you have in your corner?

04.01.2022 Have you ever pretended to be something you're not? I know I have. Whether that was laughing at a joke I didn't get, or dressing a certain way just to fit in. I think we all do this at various times in our life. I truly truly believe that people are crying out for connection, and not just surface level connection but deep authentic connections. Not the kind that's surface level "hi how are you?" But people showing up and really seeing you, the real you, the human you that makes mistakes, says things you don't mean, cares deeply and ultimately just wants to feel happy. You can both give and receive this in your life by ensuring that you show up authentically you in. Online and offline. Just be you!

03.01.2022 The quickest way to happiness is to be in the present moment. Every thought you have is a hallucination: if you're thinking of the past, it's a hallucination. It already happened and your memory of that past doesn't exist. Your memory of it is not a factual recount of exactly how it happened. If you ask 3-4 people who were at the same event how the event happened, you will not get a play-by-play that is exactly the same, there will be discrepancies. This is why police officer...s know that they need multiple witnesses to get a true eyewitness account. And even, then, they can't be sure how true it is. So, any thoughts you have around the past and things you've done or other people did is a hallucination. And if you're thinking about the future, you're thinking about the field of potentiality. These are potential futures that might come about, but again, they don't exist, they're a hallucination. The only thing that truly exists is the moment you're in right now. See more

01.01.2022 There are 2 types of buyers when it comes to selling a business. Financial buyers who value your business purely on the financial returns. Strategic buyers who value your business on the strategic value you bring to them... these are the buyers who will pay far more if you look like the perfect solution to bolt on, or into their existing company.
