16.01.2022 Hey Guys , We have had a few questions regarding our new packaging. So just to clarify... Our new eco packaging is a step we’ve taken towards being better for ...the planet and one that will reduce 20,000 tonnes of plastic a year. While it may seem that the material costs should be less as the new tray is thinner than the previous plastic trays, this new eco pack actually costs us more to purchase. We chose to not let that stop us from making the change, because we know the positive effect this can have on the environment and we want to continue to support Australians to lower their plastic use. The new eco-packaging is designed and created with innovative technology and made from 100% sustainable cardboard. Our meals are also created with premium ingredients, locally sourced from ethical Australian suppliers, so it’s not just the package that’s doing great things for the planet and you. We would love to see your support through using our #teartocare

02.01.2022 WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BUY LOCAL? Last week we introduced our fruit and vegetable boxes, filled with local Melbourne produce ready to be delivered to our Melbou...rne customer’s doors. Seasonally packed, these boxes ensure fresh pantry staples are on hand at all times. Why have we decided on F&V boxes? We wanted to put in the extra effort so you don’t have too, and help reach our goal of making Australians healthier one meal at a time. Did you know that only 5.4% of adults in Australia meet both guidelines of the recommended daily intake for fruit and vegetables? With our fruit boxes becoming a staple in your order, complemented by Dineamic meals, we can facilitate our customers in reaching these guidelines. Which, by the way, are 2 servings of fruit for both male and female, 6 servings of vegetables for males, and 5 for females. Eating local The distance from paddock to plate is known as food miles, we here at Dineamic are 'Locavoires' so like the rest of our meals, our boxes are sourced locally. This decreases the food miles before they get to you, with our country being so vast it is not easy to grow produce everywhere. Food may need to travel far to ensure all Australians have access to nutritious food. We also feel it’s important to put our dollars in our community’s back pocket, especially during this lockdown. Benefits of eating seasonal Fruit and vegetables grown in season are richer in flavour and nutrition, as they have ripened naturally and are exposed to their favoured environments. In Winter, we are gifted citrus by nature which is high in Vitamin C and helps us fight colds, in summer stone fruits which are high in beta carotene that protects our skin cells from sun damage. Traditionally we have always eaten seasonally, and nowadays it’s trending. With people asking where it has come from, understanding what’s in season, and realising that it’s easier on their pocket. What’s in our boxes for Winter? Subject to availability our boxes contain a mixture of; Japanese pumpkin, yellow potatoes, continental cucumber, pink lady apples, navel oranges, green kiwi fruit, cherry tomatoes, red and brown onions, garlic, capsicum, broccoli, pears, lemons, avocado, zucchini, sweet potato, plums, rockmelon, passion fruit, strawberries, button mushrooms and cos lettuce.
