04.01.2022 Swimming lessons are a fun way to keep children healthy and happy throughout the year, but more importantly, they provide children with the skills they need to be safe in and around the water. @Life Saving Victoria recently reported that the total number of fatal drownings in the state has now reached a total of 38, surpassing the previous year’s total of 34. These numbers are heartbreaking and they are an important reminder of why swimming and water safety skills are so important. If you’re child has missed out on learning these vital skills due to COVID-19, then now is the time to reintroduce (or introduce) swimming lessons back into their weekly routine. Sign up to YMCA Swimming Lessons at our centre via the link below!
