24.01.2022 1116 SEN’s Sam McClure is reporting that the AFL is leaning towards giving Carlton and the Gold Coast Suns priority access to two state level players, as well as a pick in the national draft which must be on-traded to another club, of the club’s are successful in their request for special assistance. We can almost rule out deceiving a pick inside the top 10 of the draft as that type of assistance seems to be well and truly gone. Considering the fact that we do need more mature-aged talent, thos do you feel about this Baggers?

22.01.2022 As another day of the AFL #TradePeriod draws to a close, the Blues remain quiet once again as rumours continue to circle. With 3 days to go before Thursday's 2pm deadline, Carlton Football Club expect to be one of the league's major players as the trade period draws to its conclusion. With many players linked to our great club, who would you like to see come in? And what would you like us to receive in return for stars who want out such as Gibbs & Tuohy?

21.01.2022 According to the AFL, priority picks may still be handed out at the beginning of the first round. Theoretically, this means that Carlton and Gold Coast could end up with the first 5 picks of the national draft. If this happens, it is speculated that the blues would use their fist pick on midfield gun Sam Walsh, and use its other two top-20 picks to bring in experienced talent, more specifically in the age bracket of 23-27.

02.01.2022 OFFICIAL: Zach Tuohy has been traded to the Geelong Football Club for Billie Smedts and its 2017 first round draft pick. Carlton's 2nd round selection in the 2017 draft will be heading back to the Cats. Considering we will likely finish somewhere near the bottom of the ladder and Geelong somewhere near the top, this exchange will likely bring the Blues up by only a handful of positions in the draft order. Is this a fair transaction for us?
