25.01.2022 Hello Carlton Auskickers. YES - Auskick WILL be running this Sunday even though its Queens B'day holiday weekend. The AFL is on, and so are we - footy doesn't take a break, even for the Queen!! Also, this Sunday Craig Leversha (often the coach on the red Game station) will be running the show as I have another event I have to attend - I hope you dont miss me too much (:D) and I am sure you will be as nice to Craig as you always are to me - so I thankyou all in advance. ... Apart from that I see the weather looks like it should be OK, so hopefully our good run continues and you all have another great session! Cheers, Toby and the team See more

24.01.2022 Hello Auskickers! Well, last session before we take a break for the school holidays - so lets make it a good one! Now it's going to be chilly this Sunday, and its been a bit wet underfoot lately, so our 10 pushups are going to be a little tougher than normal - but that's OK, I think we can all deal with it. Getting a bit muddy is part of footy! Apart from that, will see you on Sunday morning! Cheers, ... Toby and the team See more

22.01.2022 Hello Carlton Auskickers! We are on again for this Sunday - weather looks like it'll be great again, and we might even know who our Prime Minister will be for the next few years (maybe!). I hope everyone has been practicing their pushups, because this week we'll be up to 4 good ones... 1 extra per week means we'll be over 20 by the end of the season!! BUT, its all about the right technique - better to do fewer the right way than count a few more with dodgy technique. I ho...pe all the parents are doing their pushups too?? ;) THANKYOU again to all the volunteers - the BBQ last week couldn't have gone any more perfectly, as the EXACT right amount of sausages were cooked... amazing! Thanks for everyone who gloved up and helped out - the team really appreciates it :) Thats it from us for now - see you at the ground on Sunday morning! Toby and the team. See more

21.01.2022 Hello Auskickers! So, I was talking with a few last Sunday about how good the weather has been to us... may it continue again this Sunday!!!... BUT, wet weather footy is the best fun! With the right attitude, you can have a great time in any weather =D As Zach mentioned last week at the start, it'd be great if you could checkout the Carlton Junior Footy Club Facebook page. If you could 'like' it too, that'd be great! We put up some photos from time to time and its w...orth a look. This week we'll go back to normal 6 station setup this week after trialling the other version with John last week, so the yellow and green group will work in their individual groups around the stations this week. Also, its National Volunteers Week this week. So I'd like to thank all of the volunteers that mean our centre can operate - we dont get any money or regular support from the AFL or Carlton, so it's the volunteers that give up their time that make it work. Particularly Zach and Craig who are always putting in lots of hours and doing loads jobs and efforts for the club. Thanks guys!! AND of course to all the coaches that do wonderful work on the stations - thankyou so much! OK - looking forward to seeing you on Sunday morning. Cheers, Toby and the team See more

20.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, Please be advised that there will be NO AUSKICK this weekend at Princess Park. We are taking three weeks off over the school holidays. We will return back again on 21st July to do it all again! In the meantime, keep practicing and dont forget your pushups - as these 3 weeks will keep acculumating!! So we'll be up to 13 when we return =) Cheers everyone,... Toby and the team. See more

20.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, So we're on for this Sunday.... there's a lot of rain coming next few days, but supposed to clear up just in time for our session =) We're going to have the two youngest boys groups (green and yellow) combine into a special session being run by John from the AFL - so this will be slightly different and exciting! Looking forward to seeing how it works. Apart from that, it'll be another great week of Auskick! See you then. ... Cheers, Toby and the team See more

19.01.2022 Hello Auskickers, Well, winter will have come by this Sunday - although it sure feels like it right now! Was pretty cold riding to work this morning =D So we're all good to go again - hopefully the weather does the right thing for us - fingers crossed, and see you at the #1 Oval on Sunday morning!! Cheers, Toby and the team

18.01.2022 Hello Auskickers! Well, we are into August and the season is coming to an end - only a few weeks of AFL to go! Every game is important now - whats going to happen this week? Hopefully the blues can get another win! OK, so its all systems go again for another week down at the No 1 Oval in Princes Park. Weather looks like it'll be good again! Hopefully i'm not putting the mozz on us... but lets enjoy it while it lasts! ... So, see you on Sunday morning Toby and the team

17.01.2022 Hello Auskickers! So - we're up to the SECOND LAST Auskick of the year!! Its been such a long season the team cant believe its approaching the end. I'm sure the AFL players are thinking the same, and those lucky enough to be in the finals will be gearing up for the final push towards the last weekend in September. This week we're going to do things a little bit differently to our usual regime. We are going to have three games running for the whole session (after warm ...up and pushups of course) - combining the different colour groups together. We will arrange it all on Sunday, and make sure its fun, and everyone gets involved (that includes YOU too parents!)!! Also, we'll have a free BBQ again, so hang around afterwards for a sausage and a chat with someone :) OK - see you on Sunday morning! Cheers, Toby and the team. See more

17.01.2022 Hello Auskickers! Well here we go for the final session of the year!!! We'll do the same format as last week - GAME TIME! Might tweak a few things from last week so it runs a bit smoother. But will focus on the 3 main things again: ... 1. Umpire's whistle means "stop, look and listen" 2. no tackling, just holding up 3. no kicking off the ground or diving on the ball - keep your feet! 4. need to get rid of the ball after 1 bounce or when umpire counts down "3-2-1" - look to handpass to a team-mate! Also, we'll be up to 17 pushups in think - what a great effort to build up to that over the season!! Remember there's a nice BBQ organised for once we've finished - so hang around for a chat afterwards. And finally, anybody who would like to discuss more about helping out a bit more next season (thankyou to a couple of people that expressed interest - I'll talk to you on Sunday , please grab me for a little chat. Cheers, Toby and the team.

11.01.2022 Hey auskickers, We are all set to go this Sunday again. Weather gods have smiled on us this year, and looks like it will be OK again this Sunday - fingers crossed! Remember we've got the food inspector coming this weekend, so please understand if we're a bit stressed around the BBQ! Please follow instructions and we'll be fine ... Nothing else of particular importance apart from that. See you Sunday morning!! Toby and the team

10.01.2022 Hellllllooooo Auskickers, Its 'game on' again this Sunday - following a big win by the Blues! Cripps is just one of the best. Is good on both sides, finds the ball inside and outside, kicks goals when it matters and never gives up. What a gem! Good to see the Blues show some real fight. Maybe a sign of things to come? Below is a link for a holiday coaching clinic being run in Brunswick for anyone born in 2009 or 2010. If you are interested in participating or have any ...questions about the program, please contact them using the details as shown via the link. Apart from that, see you Sunday morning!! Cheers, Toby and the team https://www.dynamicfootyskills.com.au//school-holiday-pro/

09.01.2022 Hello Carlton Auskickers! OK - you can blame me for talking about how lucky we've been with the weather, as this Sunday looks like it could be a tad wet and cold... But that just means "footy in the wet, footy in the wet" which is great fun if you just embrace it and make sure you enjoy it!! =D So, we're all set for another Sunday morning Auskick. Hope we will see you there as per usual! Cheers, Toby and the team

01.01.2022 Hello Carlton Auskickers, I hope everyone had a nice little break - and we're back on this Sunday!! Same place, same time. So, find those footy boots and dust off your footy jumper, and we'll see you on the field on Sunday morning :) Cheers, Toby and the team.
