22.01.2022 Hi all, As of this afternoon the Department of Health and Human Services has changed their description of who is at risk of carrying Covid-19 (corona virus) to include anyone who has recently travelled overseas and is sick. If you have recently travelled, we ask that you dont attend an appointment until you have been back for 14 days and are well. This is also a good opportunity to reinforce that if you are unwell in any way with a respiratory illness (fever, dry cough, so...re throat or shortness of breath) that you should rest, and not attend your physiotherapy appointment. You can rest assured we will be applying the same consideration to staff at the clinic. If you attend an appointment and obviously have any of these symptoms you will not be treated. If you are unsure about your symptoms please contact your local GP clinic (by phone) or there is a fever clinic at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In the meantime wash your hands and stay healthy!! Emily

16.01.2022 There are a number of changes taking place in regards to provision of services and a lot still remains unclear. At this point in time it seems that a current referral from your GP/specialist will be required to attend a face to face appointment. We recommend you keep a copy of this referral on you along with your appointment reminder as proof you are leaving your house to receive care under stage 4 lockdown.

15.01.2022 Carlton Physiotherapy Centre is working hard to bring you top quality video sessions as soon as possible. We have already done some test sessions and aim to be fully set up by the end of the week. Stay tuned for further details.

11.01.2022 We would like to welcome Aemilia Elliott to our team of Senior Physiotherapists. Aemilia comes to us with many years of experience and will be replacing Emily whilst she is on Maternity leave. Not only is Aemilia an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, she has completed GLA:D training, for the management of hip and knee osteoarthritis, and pilates training. She has a special interest in the treatment of lumbar spine, pelvic and hips, however her experience working in both sports and private practice means she is well versed in the management of all musculoskeletal conditions. Aemilia will be working Tuesdays and Fridays starting next week. Please check out our website www.carltonphysio.com.au for further details or to book an appointment online.
