25.01.2022 Cairns Convention Centre expansion will begin in a couple of months and hundreds of tradie jobs are going to be available - carpenters, carpet-layers, painters, plumbers and electricians are all encouraged to put their names forward. An industry briefing will be held Thursday 23 Jan at the Convention Centre. It’s important local businesses come along to the industry information forum and learn how to tick the right boxes so that they have the best possible chance of securing works packages at the convention centre. Companies interested in applying for work packages should register with the ICN portal services at cairnsconventioncentre.icn.org.au. Subcontractors keen to learn more about the project can reach out to the Subcontractor EOI contact: [email protected].

23.01.2022 5 Reasons Why Becoming a Real Estate Buyers Agent May Be The Best Career Move 1 There’s a huge and every-growing demand for buyer's agents. That’s because buyers recognize that buying a property is one of the most important financial decision they may ever make.... So, they want to feel confident about getting the best outcome. Particularly as they feel unsure about dealing with real estate agents - and getting the best price for a property. 2 It’s a potentially very lucrative field. That’s because a buyer’s agent generally gets paid a percentage of the sale price of a property - which can be anyway from $9,990 to $15,000+ per property purchase. This means if you get just 1 client a month - you are a on a healthy six figure income. This is why, some buyer’s agents earn as much as $250,000 per year. 3 Flexible work hours are an attraction to many people especially those with growing families to look after. Also, you don't necessarily need to work from the office each day - so you can manage your work around household and kids. 4 You get all the satisfaction and fulfillment of being your own boss and calling your own shots in life. No more dealing with a boss that you don’t get along with, or office politics. 5 You get the fulfilment of helping people move into a beautiful new home they love. There’s nothing like the feeling you get when the buyers get the keys to their brand new home. That’s why you’ll love being a buyer’s agent from an emotional perspective. You don’t need a degree, or to have worked in real estate, or have had a fancy career. All, you need is an interest in real estate - and the right training to get started in this highly lucrative profession. Now, you can attend a free webinar with Ben Handler - the founder of Australia’s #1 buyers agency - to discover how to get started the right way.
