However, implementing new, correct diet and lifestyle techniques that become a way of life means we slowly chip away at that weight but we keep it off long term! No more yo-yoing! 22.01.2022 So this is where I’ve ended up this stormy Sunday! I finally honoured what my body was asking for! It’s all well and good to be busy and workout and hit step counts etc but sometimes we need to just stop! I found myself sitting at my dining room table today, still in my pj’s, fighting the thought to get up and do something productive. After half a day I finally said who am I kidding?! and went and ran myself a bath! And that’s what I did! I gave myself the permission to do nothing but soak in a hot magnesium bath listening to the rain and it was bliss!! I can be productive and busy again tomorrow! 17.01.2022 So a (rather large) friend of mine has a horrendous viral cough/chest infection that, among other symptoms, is hurting his lungs and is stopping him from breathing properly. The doctor gave him cough syrup as they can’t treat viruses! Well, lucky for him, I can!! He asked for an atomic bomb that, as long as he still had a pulse, he would take! Challenge accepted! 06.01.2022 I’ve been experimenting with my air fryer. Tonight = lamb shanks! And they were awesome!!!! Normally I’d slow cook shanks in a sauce but I really just wanted them roasted tonight so I rubbed a little olive oil over them then seasoned with salt and pepper and sprinkled with rosemary. Put them in the air fryer at 180 for about 45-50 minutes. They are perfectly juicy inside and crispy on the outside! What other things do you cook in your air fryer? #cpnaturopath
