02.01.2022 Carmody Electrical Contracting is a locally owned and operated Mackay based electrical business seeking a 1st/2nd year Electrical Apprentice to join our business on a full-time basis. This is a Mackay Based Position with a mandatory trial period (3 months). About the Role The successful applicant will meet the following:- Hold a Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence... Have own reliable transport Have the ability to follow directions and meet goals Be able to work supervised and unsupervised whilst being highly motivated Be organised and punctual Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be neat and tidy in presentation Be able to deal with customers/clients in a professional manner Have a personal commitment to safety Be prepared to attend training and maintain training records Be willing to work away from home as required Be entitled to work in Australia/ Australian Resident It is advantageous to have the following skills/ experiences but not essential:- Completed Pre-Vocational studies in Electrotechnology at Tafe Hold a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) Please note that regular drug and alcohol tests occur due to mandated site requirements.
