17.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: The concept of a seen or unseen enemy arises from the worrying mind that results in hateful thoughts, words and actions. REASONING: Struggling... to defeat or destroy unhelpful thoughts, speech and actions is an unhelpful way to alleviate the worrying mind that is reacting on the basis of not liking them and wanting them to be other than they are. Mastering these behaviours will only be realised when you fully understand them to be what they are and experience the consequence of them on the quality of your mind state in now-ness and then choose to let them go because they are causing physical, emotional or psychological harm to you, others and the world around you. Its never going to be helpful to think of yourself or others as an enemy. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: All of the unhelpful behaviours that you engage in have their root in egocentricity, which is the belief that you are a separate existing and substantial self. When it is realised that this thought is a creation of the confused and conditioned self-referential mind these behaviour fall away effortlessly.

16.01.2022 Something to think about ...

15.01.2022 "The mind is continually lost in the busyness of everyday life. It's driving us mad. Meditation is the gym of the mind. Try a daily workout." ~ Lama Dharma DingDong Tweet: @Tiratnadana

15.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: All things (physical, emotional, psychological, or any combination thereof) will change if you can accept them with patience. REASONING: Gett...ing angry or frustrated with an experience that you dont like, simply enhances the worrying mind and prolongs it. If you meet the experience with patience the worry will decrease and eventually the situation that you dont like will change. Patience is a mind state that will provide an opportunity to slow down and embrace the experience of life as it is and not how you want it to be. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: Patience is an act of kindness to yourself, others and the world around you. That is why it is the perfect companion to wisdom.

10.01.2022 Tune in to listen to Phil today. Chatting about Mindfulness & Meditation: How it does benefit your Health!!

09.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: Introspection is helpful, projection is unhelpful. REASONING: When we react in an unhelpful way to what others think, say and do, it is a pro...jection of the poor quality of the mind state in now-ness of the confused and conditioned self-referential mind, that does not like the experience. It conflicts with what we think is right and that challenges our sense of self-righteousness. When conscious awareness is engaged, there is no requirement to be self-defensive, as introspection has taught us the futility of the reactive life, as it not only causes harm to others and the world around us, but also causes us harm in the form of unhelpful mind states. The life of the contemplative is to meet experience as it is without the dramas of the reactive mind in order that the experience can be met by the appropriate response which is compassion. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: Only you are responsible for the quality of your mind state in now-ness. It is not dependent on what others think, say or do or external events. Likewise, you are not responsible for the unhelpful reactions of others and colluding with them is never compassion.

09.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: Its all in the mind. REASONING: The experience we refer to as mind, will only worry when it wants any experience to be other than it is in now-ness. The quality of our mind state in now-ness is not dependent on what anyone else thinks, says or does, or any external event that arrives via sense experience. The quality of the mind state will be defined by the conditioned perceptive unhelpful reaction of the confused self-referential mind or the compassionate response of its consciously aware counterpart. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: The most helpful view is that which is based in actuality. Helpful view is the defining basis of the eight-themed Dharma journey of vision and transformation.

08.01.2022 Tonight is Meditation night. All are welcome.

08.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: The quality of our mind state in now-ness will define our level of happiness. REASONING: Happiness is a multi-layered experience that relates ...to a heightened sense of pleasure. It will rise, fall, expand and conflate in accord with sensory data input that we will like. As our philosophy is dependent on what we think and happiness is dependent on a thought about some thing (physical, emotional, psychological, or any combination thereof) then it follows that we can only be happy when we think we are. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: Although happiness like all other things (physical, emotional, psychological, or any combination thereof) is transitory, if we are going to experience it at all then it will be dependent on what we think, say or do which is the living expression of our philosophy in action.

03.01.2022 Meditation! not as hard as you thought.... Or is it harder than you thought? Give it a go and see for yourself!

03.01.2022 INITIAL RESPONSE: Awareness without the need for a sense of self is it. REASONING: When there is a sense of self within an experience. it is that sense that gi...ves rise to the worrying mind because in its confusion it thinks it is a permanent and substantial thing (physical, emotional, psychological, or any combination thereof) in or of itself that, needs to be protected and defended in order to survive. If that thought is seen to be as it is and let go of it allows awareness to meet all experience as it is and then simply responds as is appropriate to the experience without worrying about it. DHARMA PERSPECTIVE: This....... is it! This is the vision of awakening itself. The on-going becoming process of a state of mind where the quality is dependent on what is thought, spoken or done.
