25.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap. thanks to all who turned out yesterday to celebrate our winter closing and presentation night what a wonderful day/night it was. Congratulations to yesterday’s winning team of Gerry Burns and Brett Bentley taking home the bacon. Thank you also to the retiring committee members for all their fantastic efforts during this difficult year and welcome to our new committee for next year who I am sure will work well together to make our club better and stronger. As our summer comp starts our comp will now be stableford. Lastly the ladies will be holding a Chip and Sip for anyone interested in having a go at golf and having a great day out. Will give further details once we lock in a date. Till then thank you to all and happy golfing.

20.01.2022 Another day another length of pipe, grass coming in the next few weeks exciting times lay ahead for this little golf club. Pipe work at it furthest point on number 1.

20.01.2022 Hi all. Catching up on winners for the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately still in windy conditions but a few stood tall and prevailed. Last week many thanks to Marj Brown for sponsoring and the winners were Don Mooney and Lou Glover. Saturday’s comp was our Mug of Mugs for the year and Rita Byron and Brett Bentley were victorious. overall winners for Saturday were Brett Byron r/u Phillip Frzop and Julie Werndly r/u Marj Brown . Well played till next week happy golfing

18.01.2022 Things are moving along nicely with the greening of our course. We had our shire president and deputy call out to check out our fantastic progress. On behalf of all our members we would like to thank the Shire of Carnarvon for their ongoing support. Not only is this going to be wonderful for our members but hopefully it will encourage more locals to play and be a draw card for our tourists that venture to our town.

15.01.2022 Our summer comp commenced today with 25 players turning up. With the little bit of rain we had there was a fair amount of run on course which reflected in some of the scores today’s. Winning the Xmas ham was Sharon Leighton with a fantastic 40 points. Great score from runner up Robbie Mallard with a 36. Don’t forget there is 1 more week to purchase tickets or bring something to put in our Xmas raffle. Till next week happy golfing.

13.01.2022 Unlike our beloved eagles losing yesterday our winners for our Monthly Mug Comp playing in insanely windy conditions that would of even tested Tiger Woods were men’s Brett Bentley with runner up Deane Wiggins. Ladies winner was Rita Bryon with runner up Marj Brown. Well done great effort as conditions were extremely trying till next week happy golfing.

06.01.2022 With a great turnout of 26 players we played our stableford comp yesterday in more normal wind conditions. thanks to Susanne Aiken for her sponsorship. Winners were men’s Taddy Faithfull (at least someone had a win for the day ) with runner up Cecil Glover ladies Liana Frzop on a C/b from Julie Werndly. Congrats to all. Next week will be stableford and will be sponsored by Oasis Waterfront Holiday Home. See you all on course till then happy golfing. anyone recognise this ball. Teed up nicely for a shot. 03.01.2022 Yesterday the Thursday ladies played for the honour of winning the Barbara Johnston memorial shield, a yearly event that was made possible by Barbara’s family to honour her memory. Barbara was a long time ladies patron and member of our club. Competition was tough but winning in the day was Rita Byron Great effort Rita. Also our comp on Saturday will be stableford so we look forward to seeing you out on course. Oasis Waterfront Holiday Home will sponsoring this week. Many Thanks must go all the boys who are doing an amazing job with the laying of the pipe ect for the greening of our course putting in lots of their time and much effort. Exciting times ahead.
