21.01.2022 Another great night done and dusted. The great thing about hot days are the nights... just divine out there.

21.01.2022 Some Christmas dates for 2021 have already been booked and lots of spots filling between June to October. We have several weddings booked during March - April - May and lots of milestone special occasions happening as well. Some spots already booking for 2022!!!

11.01.2022 I'm busy designing and creating our brochures...Venue Hire Brochure now completed. Carn Brae can be hired for private functions where you provide your own catering or we can cater with wood oven pizzas. Plenty of options to suit. Over November and December 2021, the dates we have left will be available for pizza nights only and will be a combination of privately booked nights and mixed groups as we did this year. We have already started filling up some of these !

11.01.2022 Wow. 2 years ago today we were filling our garden with new dirt. Was over 100 wheelbarrow loads from memory. We are close to having the backyard complete... some small additions still and then it’s just a matter of plant establishing! 80% there.

09.01.2022 Graduation time at carn brae... 44 degree heat!! Insane!

09.01.2022 Pizza Oven is cranking - we have up to 6 free spots tonight due to a few not being able to make it. We have Steve, a good friends of ours, from the Juke Box Boys, who will be singing some acoustic hits. Very chilled out evening planned. Last weekend we cooked pizzas for a private function, several coming up from Adelaide. Their words not mine....they were the best pizzas I've had in a long time (guest from Adelaide), and another comment, also Adelaide based....those pizzas were NEXT LEVEL! I would come back from Adelaide just to have your BBQ chicken pizza!! Inbox if you have nothing planned and don't feel like cooking!

06.01.2022 Weddings @ Carn Brae. Can't wait to share some of Michaela and Tim's wedding day held at Carn Brae 6 weeks ago. When you start to get bookings for 2022 and 2023!!! I'm not sure whether to cry at the thought of how old I'll be when that comes around, or be happy that people are loving the space we have created at Carn Brae! Imagine how good its going to look in 2023! Michaela Paulauskas

03.01.2022 Thankfully that was a short lived roller coaster. Who knows what the next few weeks or months will bring, for now we are just happy to be back doing what we do best. Once things start getting back to some kind of normal keep the small businesses in this town in mind. ... Coles,Woolworths and Aldi are great for this town, we would be lost without them, they provide jobs, convince and services that many small businesses can’t cover but right now small businesses are hurting like never before. So, if you need to buy meat, fruit and veg, seafood, bread, honey, stationary or anything else that the big guys sell, just stop and think for a second about where your dollar is going. Its definitely less convenient and it probably does cost a few cents more to buy from a small business but that money stays in our town, it employs and trains our kids and supports our community. Most importantly, it’s the small businesses that give a country town its identity and pride. While you are out and about, don’t forget the great pubs we have in this town. Take the time to stop and have a drink in the front bar of one the locally owned hotels we have. If we don’t support them we will lose them, we will regret it once they are gone. Thanks for all the support this town has given us. Bring on 2021. Cheers.
