17.01.2022 A couple of photos from the past few months. Rain, Barry, Nigel, green grass and flooded roads! Mingol, Wongawol and scorpion creek were bankers! Completely overflowing with scorpion creek almost reaching the homestead fence. We are still struggling to get around the station, and we’re flooded in and stuck at the homestead for over 4 weeks with no internet as the rain had damaged our satellite dish and cables.
12.01.2022 Carnegie Station would like to welcome Graham as part of our team in role as Station hand.
05.01.2022 G’day everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know the Gunbarrel highway is CLOSED I cannot stress this enough please do not come through the Gunbarrel until the roads are fixed there are extreme washouts, flooded roads and flood damage! If we do not know you’re coming or currently traveling we can’t come help you in case of emergency unless you have a sat phone. We have now had 4 cars come through one car experiencing damage that we had to fix... As much as we want people to... come visit and see the amazing scenery we do not want anyone getting hurt or stuck somewhere with a damaged vehicle. Please be patient and wait till the roads are fixed we will keep you updated but again please be smart about coming! Any vehicles coming through will be reported to the shire of Wiluna. By coming on the road you are potentially doing more damage which we have to get fixed and there’s already a great amount of damage please do not create more, be considerate we have to use these roads to work and it makes our jobs harder when there’s tyre tracks digging into the road because someone has driven through it when it was wet. If you have any questions please call us on (08)9981 2991 Or email us at [email protected] Thank you See more

02.01.2022 Update on the road condition
02.01.2022 G’day everyone! It’s been a while since anything has been posted but we’re hoping to be updating you as much as we can with changes and exciting things coming to Carnegie. As some of you may know we experienced an extreme rain fall at the start of the year after a terrible drought. This is great news for us, the land and the animals but many roads experienced severe damage and are closed so I am putting up the current road conditions from the shire of Wiluna and will keep you updated. We hope to have them fixed soon so you can all come and get a taste of the outback at Carnegie!
