15.01.2022 Tooth decay doesn’t always present with pain, and when it does it means the cavity has made its way closer to the nerves of the tooth. It is far better to detect and treat tooth decay earlier rather than waiting until pain comes. Your chance of saving the tooth is also much higher!

12.01.2022 Downgraded to Level 1 Restrictions !! As advised by the federal ADA on Friday 8 May, Australia has now moved to Level 1 dental practice restrictions on the advice of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee. The Dental Board of Australia has confirmed that these changes take effect immediately unless there are restrictions in place in particular states.... We are pleased to confirm that the Level 1 restrictions are now in effect in Victoria. We will be in contact with all our patients within the next few weeks who had appointments that were cancelled during the period that we were temporarily closed. All appropriate COVID-19 precautions will be in place and our exceptionally high infection control procedures will continue to be practiced. Stay safe and we will see you soon. 10.01.2022 Staying motivated with your dental hygiene during COVID-19 With more people working from home and kids being home schooled, the tendency to snack is real! We have too much time now and some of us (myself included) are finding that we are standing in front of the pantry even when we're not hungry. Some of us are probably also increasing our coffee and tea consumption which leads to more staining of the teeth. ... This is why dental hygiene is so important right now, more than ever! Can you feel that furry layer of plaque attached to your enamel when you run your tongue against your teeth? That plaque which is a combination of bacteria and food debris could be destroying the enamel or causing your gums to become irritated or swollen. Good brushing and flossing is the key to removing all the plaque buildup on your teeth to prevent cavities and gum disease during this time and of course.... lay low on the snacking! When you feel OK to do so, you are certainly welcome to attend the CDG for your routine check up and Hygienist visit. Level 1 restrictions means that we are able to provide those services now.
