07.01.2022 6.5 years ago the girl in this photo was broke. Due to injury, her basketball career was over and at the age of 26 she found herself unemployed, living on her sisters couch. She had no confidence in herself and had no idea what she was going to do with her life or how she was even going to pay her phone bill. When most people would’ve just sucked it up and got a job, this girl was brave enough to say YES to an opportunity that most wouldn’t even take a look at. An opportunity... that many still roll their eyes about, an opportunity that so many people let pass by. She had no experience, she had no confidence, she had no money but what she did have was a burning desire to create a better life. She wanted more out of life than just working a JOB. She didn’t want to work the 9-5 grind in a job she wasn’t passionate about. She didn’t want to live pay check to pay check. She didn’t want to just exist, she wanted to LIVE! Even when people around her told her she was crazy, those things never work, even when people would try and sabotage her with their negative opinions and talks behind her back, she still put herself out there, determined to show people what is possible. 6.5 years ago my cousin Katina said yes to an opportunity that changed her life, that yes not only changed her life but it has changed hundreds of lives...including my own. That broke girl, living on her sisters couch, that girl who was told many times that business would never work, you will never make any money, well that girl today is now the Top 3 income earner for Arbonne Australia.
