04.01.2022 In Week 5 in Outdoor Education, we went mountain biking from school to Isaacs Ridge. Being outdoors is not only good for your physical health but your mental health as well. It can be a positive distraction from everyday stresses. Fresh air gives you more energy and natural sunlight gives you vitamin D and is relaxing. You are able to focus on whats around you and learn about different things outdoors. Being in nature helps with your eyesight as you can see things close up and from a distance. You can focus on your breathing and heart rate which can also help improve your mental and physical health. (Written By Keira Mitchell, Yr 10)
