21.01.2022 My last interstate work trip was on the 20th of March this year to Adelaide. It was a scary time to travel but I got to work with this incredible scientist, Yvonne Lungershausen CEO of Avance Clinical. It takes a lot of organising for a maga styling trip like this, we were on limited time and the brief was massive, personal styling (#slash #shop #style) in the first two days and the last day we had a team photoshoot and video content to secure. You know I don’t like to ...leave any stones unturned so first things first, a modern hair cut and colour. A highly recommended hair-cutter in was briefed, a conference was called and the result was captured and emailed to me prior to our arrival. Next it was all about elevating her image with a fresh palette and new silhouettes which not only suits her shape but gives her that contemporary edge. Making a decision to change and elevate your image does take time and a village sometimes but the confidence and empowerment is all yours to keep...forever! 12.01.2022 This is our beautiful home featured in @houseandgarden a couple of years ago...fast forward to two weeks ago exactly and our family home of 15 years was on fire. The damage is extensive...and we are now in temporary accommodation. It's been chaotic and unsettling and I wasn't sure I wanted to post about it but as much as I am all about positivity and fun times on the gram, this is real life. I mean what an end to 2020! I kept thinking of how lucky we are that everybody is sa...fe...but also how within 15 minutes our home is a total wreak...how life can change so quickly. That seems to be the theme of 2020 for so many people who have lost their homes to the bushfire or businesses to Covid. It’s heart-breaking but we can’t dwell, let’s think of it as another adventure with the family. If I’ve been distant, unavailable and missing in action this is whythank you for your patience. #csystyle

07.01.2022 Yellow is one of my favourite colour, and it’s having a moment in the fashion sun. I love it because It’s such a happy colour, yet a lot of people shy away from wearing it. My tips on wearing yellow? It all comes down to choosing the right yellow colour for your skin tone. Pale yellow (such as this jacket) is the easiest to pull off, it suits almost everyone. But if you find even that is a bit too much, opt for a yellow and white stipe or a yellow print to tone it down. ...If you have olive or tan skin tone, warmer and darker yellow will also compliment your complexion, in fact you can wear almost any yellow colour. Avoid pairing yellow with bright coloured pieces in the one outfit, it feels dated and too busy for me personally. Remember to look at the complete outfit and pair back with classic neutrals (neutrals are; whites, beige, tan, grey, navy and black) and denim for a chic understated look.
