20.01.2022 I always recommend to my marrying couples that they undertake a course such as this before getting married. This will help strengthen and develop an even deeper connection.
20.01.2022 Not every bride changes her name after being married...but if you are then be aware that it is not an automatic thing......
20.01.2022 Why is your marriage certificate so important isnt it just a piece of paper ? https://www.celebrants.org.au//m/663-just-a-piece-of-paper
19.01.2022 True defininition of marriage
19.01.2022 When getting married you need to give your celebrant at least one months notice. There are however some special circumstances when couples may apply for a shortening of time og giving notice as described in this article....
16.01.2022 Why would a couple who have been living together for years bother to get married? Why is a marriage ceremony so important? https://www.celebrants.org.au//marr/664-wedding-ceremonies
16.01.2022 This was a quiet and more private ceremony from what we have seen of previous royal weddings.
16.01.2022 I am often asked the following: Do you need to be a resident to marry in Australia and Can you stay in Australia if you marry an Australian? These are common questions that are asked by people planning to marry. https://www.celebrants.org.au//641-living-in-australia-for
16.01.2022 Feedback from couple Rebecca and Mathew who have been married now for over 3 years.... 'Carol was beautiful and clear when delivering the service and even continued on when there were distractions - children. Carol took our wants for the ceremony into consideration and made the perfect ceremony for us. Thank you so much for helping plan our special day and providing us with a ceremony perfect for us."
14.01.2022 The ceremony is perhaps the most important part of your wedding day. Your ceremony should be as individual as you are, but what do you actually include in a marriage ceremony.? https://www.celebrants.org.au//marriage/657-wedding-ceremo
12.01.2022 All you need is love
10.01.2022 When choosing a wedding cake you know there is a cost for time, ingredients, skill, staff, delivery and much more. You can see what is involved when a Celebrant sets their fee in this link. https://www.celebrants.org.au//marri/652-cost-of-celebrant
10.01.2022 CV-19 Class 2020 (I didn't write this, and don't know who did so cannot acknowledge author but it's very good advice.) Due to the new changes, if your date cannot go ahead (as confirmed with venues), here are a few simple steps to follow :- 1. Create a Facebook group for family & friends already invited 2. Announce your date has been POSTPONED (not cancelled because you will definitely still be getting married in the future). ... 3. Chat with the venue in regard to transferring ALL costs to a future date. Yes there may be additional costs or penalties but these will be insignificant in comparison to them applying the T&Cs of your original contract. 4. Once you have that date, contact each and every vendor (use BCC to help out) letting them know due to the new restrictions imposed from today, the venue has advised your day cannot go ahead as planned but it has been rescheduled to 00.00.202X and you hope they are happy to transfer your existing invoices to that date. 5. Monitor those who can and those who cant. 6. For those who can, ask for updated invoice. 7. For those who CANT, ensure you reach an agreement in regard to how to cancel any existing arrangements ..... most will be relieved you have a new date so hopefully there will be very few who cant transfer. 8. Be VERY understanding, CV-19 has impacted the events industry AND their own livelihoods in a HUGE way ..... their passion for your day has been a HUGE commitment and many are suffering 9. For those who cant commit to your new date, ask them for recommendations and/or pop a post in the group. PLEASE REMEMBER...... everyone is in SHOCK so please dont use the word CANCELLATION when each and every vendor, family and friend really want your day to go ahead even if its down the track See more
