20.01.2022 Due to the limitations and challenges of meeting the Covid-19 guidelines, we are unable to have Carols in Town Park this year. We look forward to 2021.

19.01.2022 For the past 4 years Canberra Recovery have assisted to setup and pack down for Carols in Town Park (CITP). Canberra Recovery is funded by the Red Shield Appeal and this year we have not been able to doorknock or collect at shopping centres. Our appeal has been digital. Captain Roz is currently walking around Lake Tuggeranong each morning at 7am to raise funds for the Red Shield Appeal and this week was joined by a person who has helped at CITP whilst at Canberra recovery. Please listen to the video and if you would like to donate to the Red Shield Appeal it would be greatly appeciated. https://digitaldoorknock.salvationarmy.org.au/t/tuggeranong

04.01.2022 It’s the final weekend for The Red Shield Appeal 2020!! A huge thank you to those who have created a fundraising page. Please do what you can in encouraging peo...ple to donate!! It’s been a tough year, and, it’s going to get tougher if we don’t strive right to the finish line and do what we can to raise funds! Here is the link to the Tuggeranong digital fundraising page! Let’s see if we can break the $10,000 line!! The demand from the community for assistance is rising as we move through COVID-19.... please ‘leave no one in need’. https://digitaldoorknock.salvationarmy.org.au/t/tuggeranong
