15.01.2022 You know what?! Stuff covid - let's get back to teaching workshops! I have officially been living in Goondiwindi for a month now and am feeling so inspired to c...onnect with the creative community here and get back to teaching in person workshops. So let's do this! My very first in person workshops, in my new hometown of Gundy, will be rolling out in December! They will be super small classes so I can deliver the most value possible to everyone who attends. Here's all the details for the two December workshops: WHEN: Saturday 5th + Monday 7th December TIME: 10am - 2pm WHERE: 'The Art Cubby', Goondiwindi WHAT'S INCLUDED: 4 hours of group coaching on the basics of photography and camera set up. This awesome workshop is also fully catered and our space is air conditioned. This workshop is perfect for those who want to get out of shooting in Auto and looking for a stepping stone on their way to manual. You'll learn: - Composition and angles - Setting the right tones and white balance - How to get super sharp focus + track moving subjects - The different shooting modes and which ones to use (without leaping into manual mode) - What iso, f stop and shutter speed are used for - Selecting the right focus and drive modes - Shooting in the right file types for what you want to do with your photos - Shooting through your live view and viewfinder (and when to use each one) - What camera gear you need for what you're shooting - How to care for your gear Everyone and every single camera is welcome!
