25.01.2022 Today following expert health advice, we've announced that from 1 December, our border restrictions with Victoria will be removed. Victoria has faced many challenges over the past few months, but has now managed to get on top of the virus. The reopening of the border will see families reunited and it will help stimulate our economy, boost tourism and create jobs.... Finally, the return of standing hospitality is imminent with SA Health working extremely hard to have a government contact tracing check-in system up and running. Certain businesses will need to use the new system. This includes pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and other licensed venues. Once it's available and businesses have implemented it, standing hospitality will be allowed to resume immediately. Another update regarding changes to other restrictions that remain in place is expected after the Transition Committee meets next Tuesday 17 November.

01.01.2022 Degrading, offensive slogans on Wicked Campervans will be banned under legislation introduced this week by the Marshall Liberal Government. This Bill ensures sexist and discriminatory slogans are removed from our SA roads, and the entire Australian road network. It was not enough for SA to have its own legislation. So we have been advocating for a consistent national approach which will see every state have similar legislation to de-register vehicles with offensive material ...displayed. Without it, these disgusting slogans could remain legally on our SA roads, because they were simply on vans re-registered in another state. That wasn’t good enough for the Marshall Liberal Government. Thank you to Hon Corey Wingard and Stephan Knoll for your work on a national approach to tackle this issue.
