24.01.2022 ****LATEST INFORMATION FROM ROYAL CARIBBEAN****** Dear valued Travel Partner, The health and safety of our guests, crew, and the communities we visit is our top priority. As we work with health and government authorities toward this shared goal, Royal Caribbean International will be extending the suspension of sailings to include those departing from Australia and New Zealand on or before 31 October, 2020.... We will continue to work together with health and government authorities to establish comprehensive plans and protocols for the safe resumption of cruising, so we can welcome our guests back onboard as soon as we can. We will not sail until we are ready.

23.01.2022 Love to do a short cruise on our beautiful River Murray from $550 per person twin share, 2 nights Maybe not the same as cruising the Mediterranean or the South Pacific but we do have some beautiful scenery right on our doorstep for those that want a few days away (maybe relive your previous cruising days) Proud Mary have availability for November & December for 2, 5 and 7 night cruises (including Christmas & NYE).... The cabin are really lovely, spacious with own bathrooms. https://www.facebook.com/MVproudmary/videos/677617326124235

22.01.2022 I don’t normally like to share things like this but we are in uncharted territory and this message is becoming more and more important by the day. Sharing from a fellow travel industry colleague... For all my family and friends. You know I’ve never been precious about where you book your travel in the past. I always have worked on the premise that there is enough business for everyone. ...Continue reading

22.01.2022 Another fantastic day here in Japan. Went to see where the 1998 Nagano winter Olympic ski jumping was held. Then to see other local ski resorts, gorgeous little bakery and antique shop and then finished the day at a fabulous boutique resort hotel Aqua Alphine. Highly recommend if travelling with a group or need triple or quad rooms.

20.01.2022 Love Japan, had fantastic time in Matsumoto, quiet streets though. Must see city to visit

15.01.2022 Due to COVID and the ongoing collapse of the travel industry I have decided to retire from the industry. I will be closing down this Facebook page shortly but for all my friends I will still have my original Facebook non-travel page. When travel does finally resume I highly recommend contacting my friend and colleague Corinne Mutz who will be able to assist you. https://www.travelmanagers.com.au/ptm/corinnemutz/ Thank you to all my past clients who supported my travel business.

07.01.2022 COVID-19 For anyone who is travelling overseas I would strongly recommend that you refer to the following government website Smarttraveller, World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), for the latest travel alerts and information on the destination you’re planning to visit. https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/ https://www.who.int/emergen/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019... https://www.dfat.gov.au/ We also recommend that you subscribe to updates from the Smartraveller so you have the latest advice. https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/consular-services/subscribe Here at TravelManagers we can help reduce the risk of any financial impact in the event you choose to subsequently amend or cancel your booking, by: 1. We can also offer travel insurance to you that will cover you for cancellation due to fears of coronavirus (COVID-19) (subject to the PDS). Cover-More’s ‘Cancel-For-Any-Reason’ can be added to a travel insurance policy for a modest additional premium. And it provides cover for 75% of non-refundable trip costs up to a $10,000 benefit. Please note there are strict rules as to when this type of policy needs to be issued and when you cancel your trip please read the PDS to ensure this product is right for you. TravelManagers has written to all of our partner suppliers requesting they review their terms and conditions so that our customers have greater flexibility should the outlook influence them to adjust their travel plans. 01.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS IN NUMBERSand Why We Really Shouldn’t Panic. BE AWARE NOT ALARMED So, here it goes: 80,000 People are Sick with Coronavirus at the Moment... of which 77,000 are in China. If you contract Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for alarm, because: 81% of the Cases are MILD 14% of the Cases are MODERATE and only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL This means that if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it. This means that if you are under 50 years of age, and not living in China, you are more likely to win the lottery which is a 1 in 45,000,000 chance! NOW, Let’s take one of the worst days so far the 10th of February. Whilst we were enjoying our Public Holiday, 108 persons in CHINA died of Coronavirus. BUT, on the same day 26,283 people died of Cancer 24,641 people died of Heart Disease 4,300 people died of Diabetes and on that day, Suicide, unfortunately, took more lives than the virus did, by 28 times. Moreover, Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day and Snakes kill 137 people every day. The advice is simple! We should cherish life every single day. We should care for our lives always, and not only when we are afraid of some virus or other hitting our shoresoh, and don’t forget to wash your hands! The COVID-19 is being monitored very closely in the travel industry.
