18.01.2022 Please see updated 8th September Caroonboon Merino Ram Sale Catalogue. Ram weights will be recorded the 2nd of September 2020. We will be interfacing with Auctionsplus for the sale and photos/videos of the rams will be taken the same day as the weights. We hope to have photos uploaded within 24 hours. The Lots with the Sire in catalogue down as SYNC are from the AI program Willandra Impact with the back up ram Terrick West TW6.128. Sale Lot 1C - Caroonboon 017 has impressed ram buyers on his first debut at the Dubbo Merino Display and Ram Sale, early this week. A lot of interest in his wool type. One comment I overheard was 'He has the longest staple in the shed'. Weighing in at 107 kgs he isn't the heaviest ram but his excellent wool certainly compensates for his weight.. Caroonboon 017 is one to short list in your catalogue!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Caroonboon clients Michael & Clare Bull of Conargo with the second top price at the sale of $378 and to Craig Smith of Oaklands at $374 for their ewes. The Caroonboon genetics have certainly assisted along with good management to achieve these outstanding results. Well done team Caroonboon!

05.01.2022 The sale rams going up the race for their pre sale weigh in. Rams were also photographed and videotaped for us to interface with Auctions Plus on next Tuesday 8th sale day. 03.01.2022 The sale is over and many of the rams have departed for thier new homes to be introduced to the ewe ladies of the land. We were pleased with the results of the sale. 77 Lots offered with 76 Lots sold. Top Price Lot 4 $3,800 Average Price $1,715.13.... 16 Registered Buyers. 03.01.2022 Harvest now complete at Calga. Sandy did a great job taking some harvest footage with the Phantom 4 drone. As I have said before,his skill has been acquired from lengthy hours with a Playstation remote in his hands when he was a young boy. 01.01.2022 Caroonboon James 1395 is scoring well in the SA Sire Evaluation Trial. Caroonboon James 1395 was purchased by O'Brien Polls at the Classings Classic Sale Murray Bridge SA in September 2019 for $18,000. Caroonboon James 1395 will again be part of our 2020 AI program. His progeny from our 2019 AI program are showing great potential. We must thank Darren O'Brien for entering James in the SA Sire Evaluation Trial as it puts the Caroonboon bloodline out there for all to see!
