22.01.2022 Hello to all of our followers, just a little update on what's happening in the Car'o'Toons camp. Unfortunately Covid 19 put a holt on the trek. It was postponed to October but unfortunately we are unable to do the trek in October due to it being Harvest time. So 2021 it is. Thanks for your continued support!

19.01.2022 Another fantastic local business has jumped on board with Team 186. Massive thanks to Dave and Mandy and the team at ARB Toowoomba for your donation! We are fortunate enough to have our Toyota Hilux fully kitted out with ARB gear from these guys and they have always been the best team to deal with, They supported us on our first big trip in 2019 and we're so excited to have their support for our jump into the Trek this year. 14.01.2022 Did you catch the Royal Flying Doctor Service on Sunrise this morning? We celebrated the launch of the 31st Outback Car Trek at Bondi Beach! If you happen to ...get sick living in Bondi, help is at your fingertips with more than 37 GPs available to you within a 3km radius. Many GPs would be able to fit you in on the same day and you would be on the mend in no time - and if not, a major hospital is a 15-minute drive away. Meanwhile, for those living in Cobar NSW, there only three GPs available in an area of 45,609 square kilometres, and the nearest hospital is a three-hour drive away. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is dedicated to improving health outcomes for people living in rural and remote Australia. The charity is best known for outback emergency retrievals, but importantly delivers vital healthcare such as GP clinics, mental and dental health, breast care, women and children’s health, drug/alcohol counselling and chronic disease screening, among other services. This life-saving work is made possible by generous supporters. The Outback Car Trek has been holding a spotlight to these issues every year since 1990, raising over $30 million for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the process. Every RFDS plane has to undergo an extensive fit-out after purchase, so they have the necessary medical equipment to deal with any emergency.
