18.01.2022 POOL PARTIES 2020 Last weekend we celebrated summer with a pool party! At Goolgowi on Saturday we hosted around 70 people and followed that up with 95 people on Sunday in Hillston. The parties were planned and hosted by Councils Economic Development Unit and were once again well received. ... Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in with some summer fun! We cant wait until next year.

17.01.2022 Hillston and Goolgowi SES Units are looking for locals to help locals. As the first responders in the Hillston, Goolgowi/Merriwagga areas, local SES crews are involved with road crash rescues working to stabilise vehicles, administer primary first aid and extract casualties. The Goolgowi Unit also provides First Response assistance to NSW Ambulance. The SES Recruitment Campaign titled Locals Helping Locals, is a call to local residents to join the Hillston or Goolgowi SES... Units. Can we afford to wait for someone to come from Griffith or further to attend if our loved ones are in a road crash? We need to keep this service local and we need the community’s support to ensure it stays in our area. Works at Goolgowi pool are underway for a new shade sail and Hillston residents will have noticed 4 new shade sails around the toddler pool for everyone to enjoy (pictured)....
