24.01.2022 Our quote for today.

23.01.2022 Thought for your week.......... In any well-engineered structure or vehicle exists built in warning systems to alert us to a potential problem eg: fuel light in your car coming on to alert you of low fuel. We can think of pain as our body’s inbuilt warning system alerting us to take note of our health that something isn’t functioning the way it should.... So before reaching for that pain killer to dull the pain maybe you need to ask yourself some different types of questions such as:- - Why is this pain occurring now? - What have I neglected to do for my health? - What have I been over-doing recently? You see asking yourself why instead of ignoring the pain is going to help you function better and maybe even prevent long-term tissue damage breakdown and injury. You wouldn’t ignore your fuel light if it came on in your car so why ignore your body’s own warning system. Have a great week

22.01.2022 Today was meant to be the start of a trip of a lifetime, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, however, like many others, my travel plans had to change. Lucky for me, I’ve just spent the last 3 days exploring the North East with my husband Ian, finishing today at one of my favorite places, Mt. Buffalo.

22.01.2022 On this beautiful Summer day I thought this quote was very appropriate. Enjoy

13.01.2022 Thought for the week. What lifestyle choices are you making to positively maximize your gene expression? Please take the time to watch this short video and have an amazing week.

12.01.2022 Tummy time is important as it helps to reduce flat spots on babies heads (known as positional plagiocephaly or flat head syndrome). - Helps babies to practice lifting their heads against gravity and bearing weight with their arms. This helps to strengthen neck, shoulder, arm and belly muscles, which is needed for babies to be able to sit, roll, push up and crawl. - Helps to improve side-to-side coordination, brain development and helps aid eye function and focus. - You can s...tart tummy time from birth, by laying belly to belly. - As baby gets older and stronger, you can place baby on the floor for a few minutes at a time 2-3 times per day, increasing time spent on tummy. - By 3-4 months baby should be having around 20 minutes of tummy time per day. 11.01.2022 Just a positive quote, because greatness is in all of us.

10.01.2022 When considering your spinal health, consider chiropractic care. Chiropractic care has been shown to be safe and effective for many common health issues, such as migraine, headache, neck and low back pain. With our love of technology and increased time spent sitting, especially during covid, our posture and therefore spinal health can really be challenged, causing sore muscles and altered joint motion. If left, it can cause habits to form which can lead to chronic pain and dysfunction. At Carrier St Chiropractic we use various adjusting techniques so as to be able to assist people of all ages and spinal types to improve their spinal health and achieve wellbeing and optical health.

10.01.2022 As today marks compulsory wearing of mask's when leaving your home, we hope this puts a smile on your face. Stay Safe.

07.01.2022 Spinal Health Week is only two days away! Don't forget this year's important theme of #ConsiderAChiro. Most people think of chiropractic care for back pain, headaches and migraine. However, chiropractic care helps to improve communication between the brain and the body. So not only do we see people with joint pain, we also see patients with balance issues, weak or sore muscles, dizziness and vertigo as well as people with nerve pain such as sciatica. Could chiropractic care benefit you and your family? Contact us on 57625151 or email us at [email protected] to find out more or visit www.considerachiro.org.au for more information on this years #SpinalHealthWeek.

07.01.2022 For your information, From 11.59pm, Sunday 17 January 2021, face masks will no longer be mandatory in all public indoor settings. 04.01.2022 Wise words. It's important to remind ourselves that for if we want things to get better, we need to start with ourselves and what we can do to make those positive changes happen. Enjoy your weekend.

04.01.2022 Did you know that many of the falls and accidents we have as kids can create lasting changes in our spines? Having your child’s spine assessed regularly can help detect these changes and prevent them causing possible issues. For information of how chiropractic care may benefit your child, please speak to our Pediatric chiropractor, Dr Michelle.
