25.01.2022 We have had very wet weather recently, and due to having to battle against leaks, damp, mould and trees, not much crafting got done. However the sun came out today, so I made these cute birthday cards. The background paper, sentiments and layered shapes are by Stampin’ Up! But the koala stamps are not. I coloured them using Stampin’ Blender pens. I have two more that are not quite finished.

24.01.2022 Today I have been working on cards for Rosh Hashanah which is next week. I have never made this style of card before, but these are to be sold in the local IGA. You may notice that the greeting is spelled two ways, Shana Tova or Shanah Tovah. This is because when Romanised from the Hebrew, it can be written many different ways as a pronunciation. I have made two types so that people can choose their personal preference. I hope I have done this appropriately. Let me know if there are glaring errors please!

23.01.2022 Having drawn a male lawn bowler I thought I would try to do some lady lawn bowlers. They looked straight when I was putting them onto the white card bases, but now I can see they are slightly off. Bother. Well, I will know for next time, if there is one. I am far more comfortable drawing flowers, birds, horses and dogs!

22.01.2022 I was making little gold pizza boxes with gel pen, sticky note pad and 4 mini cards and envelopes for a market. It has been cancelled. Anyone want one? Only $10, and an excellent end of term gift or little something to say thank you. I can also do non Christmas themed ones too. Pm me for details and orders. These are food safe too so you could always substitute a nice cookie, gingerbread man or choccies and keep the notepad pen and cards for yourself!

18.01.2022 5 sparkly Christmas tree cards which will be going up to IGA soon. Hard to show sparkles in the photograph, but there is glitter on the main tree and also the foreground paper is very sparkly. I am wearing a lot of sparkles too! The greetings on the top cards are all heat embossed so shine too.

18.01.2022 I am making more easel cards due to popular demand! These act not only as a card but a decoration for a mantlepiece. They are presented in an acetate box and cost $10 each. Under LED lights they sparkle and shine.

16.01.2022 A selection of butterfly cards. My mojo has been a bit lacking. These have taken me a week!

16.01.2022 Simply elegant in white gold and red, this beautiful poinsettia Christmas card uses products from Stampin’ Up! I love the laser cut gold paper and the stamps and dies make it so easy to create dimensional flowers. The dies also emboss the cardstock giving extra texture.

15.01.2022 I am using both Stampin Up and Heartfelt Creations products to create this Christmas card. I know it is only August, but if you are posting abroad it can take over 6 weeks to get there, so by the time I have finished all my cards for friends and family it will be time to post them! This one is heading westwards, because of the Cardinals, so not for my UK people. The Merry Christmas looks wonky in this photo, but that is because it is wavy and bits are popped up on dimensionals. There is glitter on the branches and around the edge of the oval, not the really shiny stuff, but more like little frosty flakes. If you look closely you can just see it.

14.01.2022 I am back on the Christmas creating now, because COVID has seriously delayed overseas post, and I have relatives and friends all over the world to send to. I am allowing 6 weeks for posting, so that means all my cards need to be done by mid October! Today’s cards feature the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that I could not resist, but if you do not like gnomes, I teamed the cute little tree home with the retired set Merry Mice. Which one is your favourite?

12.01.2022 Such a pretty card, simple but elegant. This uses gold laser cut paper and Poinsettia Petals from Stampin’ Up! with just a touch of glitter in the centre. Get in touch to order the stamps, dies and paper, or order cards from me. I can design to your taste.

12.01.2022 A change from Christmas cards today.

12.01.2022 I made these cards today. They will be going up to IGA on Monday with 25 others. $5 per card. What a bargain for unique handmade cards compared to mass produced cards that are twice the price!

11.01.2022 Today I finished off a set of cards made with a Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers bundle -a birthday gift from friends. This beautiful set of flowers and jars covers all seasons and I put some glossy accents on the jars to make them look more like glass. You can see the reflection on the purple and pink rose jar. There is also a matching punch, but I have not used it yet......watch this space though as with the matching jar shaped clear acetate domes it makes a fabulous shaker card. I will be making some soon.

11.01.2022 These kind words were on the St Ives community page as a post which I cannot directly share, so I copied and pasted this bit from a lovely customer that I made a card for this week. It made my day to be so appreciated! A big shout out to Caroline at Carrie's Cards and Craft who did an amazing job customizing my wife's milestone birthday card! The card looks great and the quality is excellent. Always happy to support local especially one who does a really good job

10.01.2022 I made cards and tags using the Wrapped in Plaid DSP with matching punch. This picture shows two cards with different colour variations, and a third card open so you can see I decorated the inside. The sentiments were gold or copper heat embossed. I also made lots of tags using the same set. If you look closely you can see that behind the trees on the cards the paper is embossed with the Dainty Diamonds folder. I will put a close up in the comments.

07.01.2022 4 more cards ready to go up to IGA tomorrow. For the golf fanatic or the card sharp! Stampin up make it so easy to do with these lovely stamps papers and embossing folders.

05.01.2022 I am working on Father’s Day cards at the moment, as there is less than TWO WEEKS to go! I completed 8 today- phew! $5 each, contact me to order a card. The DAD lettering is in copper foil- hard to see properly here. I am hoping to have a batch of cards up at IGA St Ives North soon.

05.01.2022 Some simple cards today with my new stamp set, Happiest of Birthdays, and the DSP Flowers for Every Season. I plan to offer these as a bundle for gifting. I have to make a box for them though, and maybe some matching tags.

05.01.2022 Two more beautiful easel book cards that can be set upon your mantlepiece to act as a decoration. It is hard to show the gleam from the heat embossing and the sparkle. They look even better under LED lights!

04.01.2022 Two more hand drawn ladies who play lawn bowls. Not all teams play in white!

04.01.2022 Simple silver heat embossed card with foiled edges to card and envelope.

03.01.2022 I have finished 20 cards for Rosh Hashanah, which will be in IGA next week. Each one is different although some have similar themes. This is as close to mass production as I get unless it is a bulk order for one card! Give someone a unique card to celebrate New Year 5781.

03.01.2022 For a top shelf dad, how about this card to go with a gift? Contact me to get one. I can make matching gift tags for that bottle too!

02.01.2022 I am making more small poinsettias to add to cards today. All are heat embossed, some with glitter white, some with white, black or gold. I have yet to add colour and shape to the holly leaves and assemble the flowers.

02.01.2022 Cards and tags using Wrapped in Plaid DSP.

02.01.2022 Another card. Only time for one today due to my MRI scan, but they found my brain so that is good! This is a slightly larger card at 5x7 and the ribbon is a suede one from Stampin’ Up! as are the images. This will also go up to IGA on Monday, but is still only $5. Inside it says. Cheers to You!
