23.01.2022 Pedestrian barriers ready to go for powder coating. Mandel bent from 50NB Galvanised pipe, they will be powder coated yellow and have the reflective stickers attached before we send them out to our customer- ready to install.

19.01.2022 All hands on deck today as we bend these extra large barriers from 100NB Gal pipe!

16.01.2022 This barrier and handrail at Woolongong Uni bus interchange was manufactured by a customer of ours Craftmaster Stainless in Dapto. We rolled and bent the mild steel flat bar, mild steel Black pipe and Stainless steel tube, freighted it down to Dapto and this is the end result. It is always great to see the finished job.

13.01.2022 Here are some mild steel pipe handrails that we have mandrel bent, we also scalloped the mid rails to suit our customers drawings. They are ready to fabricate and install. Having the pre scalloped to fit saves hours work for the fabricators.

13.01.2022 We are up to our eyeballs in 3" (76.2) Stainless Steel long radius bends at the moment with two large orders going through. Both orders are being freighted to interstate customers.

11.01.2022 70 years ago my Grand father Len Etherington started this great company, while times have certainly changed in the manufacturing industry here in Australia I hope he would be proud of the company we have become. We continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the tube bending world as our customers come up with new designs for us to manufacture. Today on our 70th anniversary we reflect on the past and look forward to what the future brings. Most of all we are thankful for our small but wonderful workforce - everyone of you is integral to the running of this company, you each bring your own unique skills and are vital for our team. Lastly but not least to our fantastic and diverse customers we value you all big and small, old and new- without you we wouldn't have made it! Here's to another 70 years

06.01.2022 Our former Managing Director Bob Etherington passed away after a long battle with dementia last Thursday. He started at Carringtons as a apprentice Mechanical Engineer, perfecting our bending process and customising our tooling. After taking over as Managing Director in the 1980's he continued to develop Carringtons in to the company it is today. He had a great love for the Australian bush and would take any opportunity to head out bush into the desert. He loved to travel to and photograph remote and beautiful places. We will close early at 12 midday this Friday the 21st to pay our respects to Bob.
