25.01.2022 A lovely pastel sunrise down at Blackwoods Beach, Cronulla.

25.01.2022 It’s been a very, very long time since I’ve been active and over a year since I’ve even picked up my camera, but for a very good reason! This little guy has come into our lives and caused nothing but chaos from the moment he made himself known to me, but we wouldn’t have it any other way I picked up ol’ faithful the other day, dusted her off and went whale watching for my birthday. It was spectacular. Photos tomorrow morning!

24.01.2022 The Golden Canola Fields in Cowra, NSW. Driving along these roads in September is just amazing. Already planning this years Cowra adventure! There’s always new compositions with the farmers using different fields each year to produce the crops so there’s always a guaranteed adventure driving around looking out for the unmistakable golden fields. Remember to always ask for permission for access to fields if you wish to get up close if there are no fields by the roadside and don’t go jumping fences!

21.01.2022 An extension on yesterday’s post - when I scrambled to the top of the hill, to my absolute delight there was a paddock full of cows! I love cows! They’re so curious and fun. These cows however were not having a bar of my attempts to lure them to the edge of the paddock so I could get some close ups.

19.01.2022 The Ochre pits, while not only beautiful, is a sacred Aboriginal site which is still used today. The Ochre is collected and is used for paint pigment used in aboriginal ceremonies. The Ochre from this site is so good that it is considered the best in Australia and has been traded around the country for thousands of years.

19.01.2022 This is Standley Chasm, Northern Territory, Australia. I couldn’t decide which one I liked best, so I put them all up! Which one do you prefer? 1, 2, 3 or 4? A beautiful little walk to get to this pretty incredible place. Called Angkerle by the Aborigines, the Chasms European name honours Mrs Ida Standley who, in 1914 became the first school teacher in Alice Springs. She became the first non-Aboriginal woman to visit the feature that now bears her name.

19.01.2022 This photo isn’t made for the small screen but I love it so too bad - it’s got so many little details, it’s should really be viewed when printed on a wall. The black dot on the right hand side is a cow giving me its best impression of a tree, and the more you look the more cows you see deep in the fog. I find I new one every time I look at it.

15.01.2022 Left a piece of very important tripod on the coffee table. No choice but to Macgyver it.

14.01.2022 What you see is a lovely sunset on Phillip Island in Victoria. What you didn’t see was me getting stuck in traffic and being late to get where I needed to be and then me piss bolting through scrub and sand dunes for about 2km trying to get where I needed to be. I was in the middle of having a breather (aka doubled over with a stitch) when I realised I wasn’t going to make it, I turned around with disappointment but saw these steps behind me! My time management and fitness levels may have let me down but the photography Gods were looking out for me :)

13.01.2022 The lovely Millaa Millaa Falls in the Atherton Tablelands, Northern Queensland. A waterfall so nice they named it twice

13.01.2022 I love a sunset rainbow! A beautiful tone is thrown over the land, in this case the air turned pink and for a few minutes it feels like we are on a different planet. This beautiful scene is at Shelly Beach, Cronulla.

13.01.2022 A beauty of a sunset this was - couldn’t tell you where it was though! Somewhere along the boarder of NSW and Victoria, I was driving along the highway when I looked around and suddenly pulled over at the side of the road, jumped out and grabbed my gear and darted bare foot into the shrubbery. My brother who was with me at the time was looking at me like I had lost the plot when I was yelling ‘This sunset is about to go off’ as I ran up the bank dodging thistles and thorns and brambles and other things that aren’t appropriate for bare feet (oh I don’t know, like a high chance of snakes), I was rewarded with a view well worth the scratched up feet!

10.01.2022 I loooove lizards. They’re like mini dinosaurs or even dragons and who doesn’t like dinosaurs OR dragons. This photo is of a beautiful Green Iguana in Singapore Zoo (one of the best zoos I’ve been too, very educational). He sat there patiently as I snapped away.

07.01.2022 Ellery Creek Big Hole was absolutely magical. I went there during the day to check it out, but coming back for sunset was a whole different feeling. It was a feeling of not being alone, but so entirely peaceful. And once the flies abated with the sunset, a sense of calm just washes over you. Probably has something to do with my muscles finally relaxing from swatting flies out of my face for the past 10 hours.

04.01.2022 A beautiful sunset bolt! I was originally photographing a sunset rainbow, but after it had disappeared the colours were too nice to just pack up so I decided to stay a little longer. I was rewarded with a random lighting bolt out to sea! But I didn’t even realise until I got home and went through the photos!
