22.01.2022 For those of you that know us very well, you will understand/share our excitement today, that Carrsview Pearl of Louise has calved. Unfortunately Pearl's mum ("Supercow") was one of our losses in the Cuddlee Creek fire and Pearl was also injured in the fire but has made a good recovery. (and yes she has beaten my heifer at calving too!) It has been interesting to watch that she has gone from silver white (from birth) to singed completely yellow from the fire to now a darker coat has grown back, the wonders of nature. #lovefarmlife##lovemurraygreys##ccbushfirerecoveryatitsbest#

03.01.2022 Yesterday was a week since the devastating Cudlee Creek Fire and it still feels very surreal, we are one of the lucky ones as we had our home to come back to and amazing support from family, friends, the community and the SA Murray Grey Group. Very SPECIAL thanks needs to be given to the CFS, especially the Mylor CFS that were here saving our home with Neil, to Nigel and Gina that were on our doorstep with feed as soon as allowed to come in, Adelaide Hills Veterinary Services... especially Lachie who was there to help treat and make the hard call on our cattle on the Saturday, Nathan Hebberman, The Sanders family, Geoff and Julie Perry, Rebecca Brookes, Rob and Sharen Randell and Jess Paine. I also need to mention our 2 incredible daughters, Zoe who is currently vetting in the UK, researching and doing all she can to advise us re the injured stock, but thankfully will be here in a few days, and Nik who has been by our side working through it all with her amazing partner Mitch (fireman Sam). Time will heal! See more

03.01.2022 Super excited on our second Adelaide Royal, finished with a bang taking out Champion Junior Heifer and then Champion Junior Bull, could not have done this without the help of some amazing people, thanks goes to Angela Eylward, Ashleigh W and Mitch for taking cattle in the ring and Molly for all of todays help and many others for all their advice and support.
