17.01.2022 The new pavilion continues to grow at Roy Dore Reserve, the framework is up for the balcony and second level. It sure is huge in comparison to the old club rooms.

16.01.2022 Another historic day in the redevelopment process. Today, with contributions from the Sports Club, Junior Footy Club and the Cowboys, we paid for the Audio Visu...al supply and install for the new building. Although we have sacrificed a few items that we would have loved to include, we will have a state of the art function room and building thanks to the generosity of the three clubs. This will not only benefit all the affiliate clubs and members, but the wider community also. Well done CPLSC, CPLJFC and CCFC committees past and present. If you have been monitoring the building, you will see that its still powering along and hopefully in the new year, if Covid eases, we will be moving in.

13.01.2022 To all the CPLJFC, sponsors, families and friends wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday. We look forward to returning (to our new club rooms) in 2021.

11.01.2022 Good evening CPLJFC members, With the current evolving COVID-19 situation in Victoria we thought this to be an appropriate time to remind all members of the training protocols in place during this time. Unfortunately, the committee has been faced with some backlash for asking parents to remain in cars or to social distance, we are just following Government/League guidelines. We kindly ask that you read the below protocols and put these into practice whilst at training. ... - Adhere to the guidelines outlined by the league, if clubs are found to have parents breaching protocols, we will be fined heavily. - Drop and go or stay in your car. - If parents need to be at the oval to collect children, please maintain social distancing and only be outside the car if it's a legitimate reason. Attached is a map of both ovals at Roy Dore reserve clearly identifying the following: - Entry and Exit points for players and approved volunteers for both ovals. - Car parking areas for parents/carers. We understand the disappointment and frustration of not being able to watch the kids train or to be able catch up with friends. Ultimately the Health and Safety of our members is paramount and the only way we can achieve this is by working together following the above guidelines. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

11.01.2022 Tour of the new building. Its coming up a treat. Very exciting time for all the clubs involved.

09.01.2022 Training for all teams is continuing throughout the school holidays. (exception being for this week the U9's on Thursday and the U14's Friday and Sunday) We ask that when parents/carers drop the kids at training that they adhere to the current COVID guidelines that are outlined by the AFLSE league, failure to do so can result in the club being issued a hefty fine.... This means that if you need to stay at the ground whilst training is on you must remain in your car or go for a walk. Gathering in groups or watching training from the sidelines is not permitted. Most importantly we ask that if you are unwell please do not attend training.

08.01.2022 2020 JUNIOR SEASON OFFICIALLY CANCELLED Today we have received official notification from AFL South East that the Junior 2020 season has been cancelled. The league were left with no alternative after Tuesdays announcement from Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews. Albeit disappointing our priority during these uncertain times is that our community stays safe, healthy and well.... We encourage our community to stay connected and support one another. The committee will work through this announcement from the league and in the coming days will send out further communication. We thank you for your support and commitment to date. GO LIONS & LIONESSES! http://www.aflsoutheast.com.au/afl-south-east-cancellatio/

07.01.2022 MERCHANDISE SALE - LIMITED TRAINING TOP SIZES. Good afternoon CPLJFC members, Tomorrow (28/6/20) we are having a merchandise sale between 10am and 12pm, Oval 1 Roy Dore Reserve. The sale is for new merchandise purchases and for those who have purchased merchandise online at time of registration.... Please note we do NOT have any Training Tops available in the following sizes: 8, 10, 12 and 14. This will be a disappointment I am sure to a few of you, and for this we do apologise. For anyone that had ordered and paid for a training top and your size is not available a refund of $25 will be given. In the coming days we will be setting up a Swap Sell Buy Face Book page for our members. This will be exclusively for CPLJFC merchandise or football boots, possibly a few Training Tops may appear on here. Thank you and see you all tomorrow.

06.01.2022 Good evening CPLJFC members, please see the updated training schedule effective immediately. COVID-19 cases are a topic of discussion and in some cases an area of concern. We continue to monitor this space and will be guided by our State Health officials and League representative. The Club is 100% committed to the Health & Safety of our Families, including extended families and friends, and we will work hard to ensure adherence to all guidelines specified by the relevant off...icials. An email has been sent to all members answering a few questions that have been raised by members today.

02.01.2022 Dear all CPLJFC Families, On the back of today’s announcement from the Victorian Government, we will cancel all training session effective midnight tonight. It’s too late to cancel training scheduled for tonight as we don’t want any kids turning up without any supervision so we will allow training to go ahead tonight as planned.... There will be no further training sessions until further notice. In regards to Season 2020, we will await advice from AFLSE and AFL Victoria and as soon as this is received we will communicate an update immediately. Our thoughts are not only with the kids during these tough times but parents as well that may be impacted by these Stage 3 restrictions. Please keep safe and well. Craig Le Clerc CPLJFC President.
