17.01.2022 AND THAT'S A WRAP! Thanks must go to everyone "behind the scenes"... the cast get the glory but without our crew we'd be singing in the dark on an empty stage, dressed in our street clothes. And, while most of the cast are probably on their way home by now (if not already tucked up in bed and snoring :P), many of the crew are still packing up the theatre. We love you all! But also, THANK YOU SO MUCH to every one of you who came to see our show this week, and who clapped and smiled and sang along with us... because after all, that's why we do what we do! So, same time next year?

13.01.2022 Ordinarily, today would be bump-in at the Shedley... we would have just wrapped up our first-half runthrough on the stage, and the crew would be taking a short break before getting stuck into second-half tech rehearsal. SADFACE. Still... we have just had a very silly online rehearsal - we'd probably have been yelled at for giggling this much during a "normal" Finale item ;-)

12.01.2022 Well... how exciting is that? In case you missed it, here are the important details: Carry On Guides is going digital this year, presenting "At Home With COG" in August 2020. Our rehearsals will be online, all our cast and crew activities will be online, and our show will be online (depending on the outcome of our copyright-related investigations, it may only be available to participating cast and crew, but watch this space).... The online format gives us a unique opportunity to invite ALL CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBERS OF GIRL GUIDES SOUTH AUSTRALIA to participate in cast. If you're five and up, and you're an active Guide, it's time to earn your COG scarf! Cast and Crew - get your application forms in before Monday 20 April to be included!!

06.01.2022 **UPDATE CARRY ON GUIDES AUDITIONS** We would like to advise all Guides who wish to Audition for the 2020 Carry on Guides Season that as a result of the email sent to all GGSA Members following health advice on the COVID-19 the date of our upcoming Auditions will be changed to the following dates: Friday 1 May 2020 6.30pm to 8.30pm Saturday 2 May 2020 6.30pm to 8.30pm ... Sunday 3 May 2020 6.30pm to 8.30pm All to be held at the Dame Roma Mitchell Centre at Golden Grove High School, 1 Adey Place Golden Grove. If you are unable to attend on these dates please contact Chantelle Parsons on 0403 855 148. (Please leave a message if you dont get through and Chantelle will get back to you asap.) Obviously, we are facing daily changes and restrictions on events and it is possible that further changes to Auditions will need to be made and we will keep everyone up to date on any changes as soon as we can. So that we can keep you all up to date going forward and due to time restrictions on getting relevant checks for members in place WE ASK THAT ALL GUIDES INTENDING TO AUDITION AS WELL AS CREW INTENDING TO ASSIST AT REHEARSALS AND IN THEATRE COMPLETE THEIR RESPECTIVE FORMS BY NO LATER THAN 15 APRIL 2020 TO [email protected]. 01.01.2022 At each online rehearsal we've been asking our cast to dress up to a theme (any excuse to get the costumes out, right?!?). Beth went all-out with this week's school sterotype of 'the arty one' and even drew her own zoom background! Love your work miss B!
