16.01.2022 Ladies and gentleman we have this week an unfortunate cautionary tale as to why you should be getting your vehicle serviced regularly. That is a check over of the vehicle as a whole as well as an oil and oil filter change for the engine. The inlet cam shaft snapped in half and the bearing journal in the head completely destroyed due to oil starvation in the top of the motor.

12.01.2022 The sun is out, the birds are singing and it's that time of year again, when our pride and joy vehicles emerge from their winter slumber. For those vehicles that have been sitting idle during the cooler months i'm sure you all know the importance of checking fluid levels and condition. It may be time for that annual engine oil change and brake fluid flush. For those vehicles running point ignition systems it is advisable to check the gaps and clean away any corrosion built up from disuse. While some enthusiasts choose to carry out this maintenance themselves feel free to give your friendly neighborhood mechanic a bell if that's not the case for you.
