22.01.2022 COVID-19 Education Assistance package from NBN. NBN is providing funding to assist phone and internet providers to support low-income family households with school-aged children, who do not currently have an active NBN connection at home. This funding will help phone and internet providers create more affordable offers to connect eligible families during Term 2. If parents and carers want to take advantage of these offers, they can contact internet providers and ask for speci...al COVID-19 deals. The participating provider will help determine if parents and carers are eligible for assistance. It is important they read the terms and conditions of the offers carefully. Schools will not provide any personal information about parents or carers to internet providers.

16.01.2022 This is a message from the Carson Street Elves to the Deputy Principal. The gloves are off Mr Salleo. Just because they wrapped your push bike in toilet paper, doesn’t mean you can tie them to the roof. I’d be rather cautious tomorrow when entering the school if I were you.Love from the CSS Elves!

03.01.2022 Carson Street School celebrates National Science Week The National Science week for 2020 was: DEEP BLUE-innovation for the future of our oceans! At Carson Street we had a great celebration of the National Science week. As part of the celebrations and to ensure that children had a fair understanding of the theme, each class was asked to complete a project in line with the theme.... The classes came up with some amazing displays which all said a lot on the importance of our oceans and why it’s important for us to look after our oceans for future generations to enjoy the lovely sea life we have in our oceans! Every class demonstrated ‘being kind to the environment’ which is one of our school values. Well done everyone and keep up the good work!!

Our overall winners were the Red Faction so huge congratulations to them. With one more faction event planned for next term, who will win the first Faction Trophy?

01.01.2022 Our thanks go out to Mandy Laing who recently donated over $1400 to Carson Street School. Mandy celebrated a special birthday recently and rather than purchase gifts, she requested her guests make a donation to school. Mandy has a special connection to the school as a friend of a former student and we are very grateful for her continued support. The funds will be spent on the purchase of special items for our students.
