24.01.2022 Lip-smackingly luscious and perfect on toast, this easy 4-ingredient raspberry-chia jam is courtesy of our friends from Organic Mountain. While traditional jams can contain up to 2 cups of sugar per batch, their recipe has only 2 tablespoons of unrefined raw sugar. Chia seeds act as a natural thickener, giving this spread its glossy, jam-like consistency. Yum! Makes: one large jar, approx. 1 cups Ingredients:... 2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries 2 tbsp Organic Mountain Raw Sugar 3 tbsp lemon juice 3 tbsp Organic Mountain Chia Seeds Method: Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add raspberries, raw sugar and lemon juice to saucepan and stir to combine. Cook for 8-10 minutes until berries have thawed (if using frozen) and sauce begins to thicken. Remove saucepan from heat and stir through the chia seeds. Continue to stir to combine, another 2-3 minutes, until mixture has thickened to a jam-like consistency.
