This national event supports Children's Medical Research Institute and helps find cures for children's genetic diseases. Volunteers across the country sell merchandise, collect donations and spread the word about Jeans for Genes on the day. 1 in 20 Aussie kids face a birth defect or genetic disease. Whi...le often inherited, many genetic diseases happen ‘out of the blue’ due to chance occurrences, so they can affect anyone. Most are poorly understood and have no specific treatments or cures. You can help the scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute find cures, so these kids can go back to being kids. Make sure to show your support by wearing your Jeans and make a donation.
