24.01.2022 What better way to spend a wet Sunday than fitting a new back door for a mate.

22.01.2022 Saturday, Sunday shed conversion. Where else would you rather be?

22.01.2022 This is a job I walked into a few weeks ago. To say there was a few issues was an understatement. The previous work had been done part D.I.Y by previous owners and part dodgy rip off handyman, of which I actually tried to call to see if he could explain how he could do such terrible work and actually ask for money, but ofcourse no-one answered. The downpipe that you bumped your head on as you walked out the back door of the main house, or the gutters that still had the plastic wrap left on and had been baked in the sun. The hinges for the doors screwed on to the architraves. It was quite a long list.

20.01.2022 This was the final result. New external solid core doors, door jams, new eaves with down lights, new fascia, and cladded with insulation. Replaced part of the gutter and redirected the fall to the other end and minimised the new downpipe. Painting was also done by CCM

20.01.2022 Before and after shots. Removed a large old window and replaced with a smaller window that will become a splashback for the new kitchen that is being installed. Then finished the outside with linear cladding and chunky preprimed frame around window.

12.01.2022 Removed wall, new beam installed. Gyprock, Cornice and plastering done by Carter's Carpentry and finished off with a Blackbutt Hardwood timber Screen. Great clients to work with. Looking forward to their next project

11.01.2022 A little fascia up grade and move the old manner red down-pipe around the corner and replace with a more modern monument colour. The winds this week certainly made it intersting but always up for a challenge and got a great final result.

11.01.2022 We understand this is a strange and scary time of uncertainty and there have been alot of changes in peoples lives. Personally and financially. We wish everyone well in working together to make everyone's health our number 1 priority. Carter's Carpentry is still operating for any of your carpentry and home maintenance needs with full respect to social distancing rules and regulations.

10.01.2022 New Slider Saturday

09.01.2022 Tradies beware! My car was unlocked while parked in the driveway of the house I was working at yesterday and it appears someone thought they needed my wallet more than I did and took it. Losing the cash is one thing but losing my cards is going to make running my business very difficult. Lock your cars when working, even if your close by.

08.01.2022 Kaboodle tuesday

07.01.2022 It's been awhile between posts due to our increased workload, but we love a challenge and looking forward to many more to come. Thanks to Jarrod Faulkner for designing our new website. Check it out at ccmbuild.com.au

05.01.2022 Door in the morning. Then round the corner to fit a Vanity in the afternoon. Saturdays.

05.01.2022 Replace wet and rotted timbers on this front entrance and seal areas that were letting moisture get into timber framework. Joints in blueboard and villaboard were set with Duramax base and top coat for extra strength due to its exposure to the weather by Carter's Carpentry and Maintenance and also painted by CCM. We cover all your needs and take all precautions to make sure the job will stand up against the elements and last.

03.01.2022 Further downstairs... Cut a 280 x 1000mm into polished concrete as top tread Boxed in Steel Post And added a Privacy Screen. All done using recycled hardwood

03.01.2022 Kitchen Makeover. Old benchtops replaced and new tops fitted. There was a small void space that wasn't previously being used so we made a custom wine rack to fill the space. A coat of paint by the client on cupboards and instantly you have an updated kitchen. The money saved on the kitchen was able to be used in the laundry where we fitted a new cabinet and basin, then completed with a benchtop for a modern look.

02.01.2022 We removed a window and fitted a new Glass Sliding Door looking out onto the deck the owner had built. Then Carter's Carpentry built a set of stairs to finish off the decking

02.01.2022 Room Conversion. Creating 2 extra bedrooms Built and sheeted by CCM Plastering done by Dane Durbin Plastering

02.01.2022 Before and after of our Mt Keira project. Still a few final touches to go but a huge improvement in design, function and safety. We installed a colourbond ceiling underneath to create a dry storage and work-space for maximum use. It's been a great working with the clients to reach this out-come and Shannon Symonds for his help and input.

01.01.2022 Just another day at the office. 1 excavator bogged so deep that even 2 bob-cats chained together couldn't pull it out. There's no more photos of the actual recovery as I was knee deep in sticky leech mud with a shovel. What will tomorrow bring with more rain forcast.

01.01.2022 Wet weather bedroom fit out at Austinmer. New floating floor and shelving.

01.01.2022 And then I painted the fence

01.01.2022 Greenhills Rooftop pergola. Waiting for the motorised roof to be fitted.
