24.01.2022 Your gymnastics class will be recommencing soon! As COVID-19 regulations ease, Cartwheels will be ‘Rebooting’ more programs every fortnight in ‘Stages’. This is to comply with our regulations & guidelines (which are changing very fast), limiting our numbers & group sizes within our facility. Stage 1 families have been contacted & their classes will resume training this week. ... Stage 2 families have also been contacted, with their starting date. Further stages will be contacted over time. Thank you all for your patience, support, & understanding while we slowly ‘Reboot’ & see our wonderful sport back up & running.

23.01.2022 Have you made your term 3 booking? Term 3 bookings are essential. ALL CURRENT CUSTOMERS MUST RE-BOOK FOR TERM 3.... -Term 3 bookings are a separate booking from your recent RSVP to the 2 weeks of make up classes. All Term 3 bookings are made via the online booking portal from the link we included in the recent emails. -All current customers* have now received 2 emails with instructions on how to book for Term 3. Contact us if you didnt receive yours. -There have been some minor changes to our timetable and payment method. This is to coordinate with our COVID-19 regulations moving forward. Timetable changes and new payment method details have been outlined in these emails. -New customers bookings will be accepted from 17th July off our waiting list. Contact us to be placed on our waiting list. *this excluded WAG and Development students.These groups do not need to re-book. 18.01.2022 COVID-19 is a concern for everyone at the moment. While we dont want to alarm our gymnastics community we think it is sensible to take all reasonable precautions to ensure we are providing the best care for our participants. To keep our students & staff safe we have implemented the following procedures: -Regular disinfection of equipment with medical grade antiviral solution. -Staff & students are to sanitise or wash their hands on arrival & staff will also wash their hand...s between classes. -Any staff going overseas will stay away from the gym for 14 days after returning to Australia. -No more Hi-5s to reward the gymnasts for their efforts, instead we will do air fist pumps. How can you help? -Speak to your children about hygiene, hand washing & minimising contact with others unnecessarily. -If you are going overseas keep your child away from the gym for 14 days on return to Australia. -Dont bring your child to class if they are ill. We will keep you informed if we receive any new information or directives from health authorities or Gymnastics Australia. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to speak to our staff in the gym.

We are currently brainstorming ideas to keep everyone off the couch while at home. 13.01.2022 Thought I’d share the wonderful news!

12.01.2022 Stage 2 reboot is successfully underway, running last week & continuing this week to make up* for the missed sessions after we were closed in term 1. Stage 2 classes will not run over the holiday period. Stage 3 families have been contacted with their start date to commence their 2 make up* sessions starting next week running during the holidays. Please be sure to respond with your RSVP. This included some previous 2 hour sessions & Team Gym. Term 3 bookings ... Bookings for term 3 will be taken soon, & we are hoping to have this information emailed out to you all early next week! WAG sessions will continue running over the holidays, back to their extended regular training hours. Development sessions will not run over the holidays, however will commence on Tuesday 21st July. *Due to the nature of the lockdown, the make up sessions scheduled will be the only opportunity to make up for the lost sessions. Any missed make up sessions will unfortunately be forfeited, which we apologise for. THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting and continuing to support our business! We are now taking registrations for new customers There are only few positions available, and registration can be done via our website cartwheelsgymnastics.com Unsure if your child will enjoy gymnastics? Your first session will be considered a trial, with no commitment required if you decide gymnastics isnt for you. All we require is your registration into one of our available sessions suited to the child (via the website), please write trial in ...the notes box. Once we receive your registration, we will send you an email confirmation of the booking. An invoice for the term will also be sent sooner to term 1, however payment is required AFTER you have trialed the class and we receive your confirmation that you will be continuing gymnastics. If its not for you, please let us know so we can let someone else have a try. Fees will apply for any no shows. See more

09.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: While gyms are exempt from the 100 people indoors rule, we are putting a new drop off & pick up procedure in place. We alone dont have those numbers in the gym at any time however we are in a shared facility. This means we need to reduce congestion in the building at the peak times. From today parents will deliver gymnasts to a staff member at the gate (or just inside) where they will be directed into the building. Parents, carers & siblings are no longer ...able to remain & watch classes. A coach will bring the students out into the courtyard for collection at the end of their session. Dont forget they will need their pcyc membership cards. Please remember: Keep your child away if they are in anyway ill. Ensure they have their own asthma preventative medication with them even if they are asymptomatic. In this time of changing directives from our governing bodies we will endeavour to provide the latest information as it comes to hand. The important thing to remember is that regular exercise is a great way to help reduce anxiety in our children especially when are navigating a very different world at the moment. We also know that exercise boosts your physical well being & overall heath so lets keep those bodies moving! Again, we are so grateful for the support from our gym families, thank you.

Just announced we can re-open June 13 We are conducting a staff meeting in the morning to go over our procedures and the logistics of how things will run when we re-open. Once we have all of these things confirmed on our side, we will then contact all of our current memebers with the details, and how the reboot will work. Please bare with us as we work through some things ... We look forward to sending you all some information ASAP!
