03.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to our CPS Community.

02.01.2022 Welcome Back to School Dear Parents and Carers, Welcome back to another school term. Term 3 is set to be another busy term full of activity, student engagement and complexity. I hope everyone enjoyed the school holiday break. The staff are really looking forward to another term of teaching and learning, connecting with their students and working with our CPS families.... As you would be aware, social distancing and good hygiene practices remain a focus for our whole school community. In saying this, the following measures must apply: Students and staff are to stay home if they are unwell and only return to school when they are fully recovered. Students will be sent straight home if they have a runny nose, fever or cough. Students will wash their hands regularly throughout the school day to maintain good hygiene. Students are asked to bring drink bottles to school, as the bubblers will remain off limits. Students are asked to cover a cough or sneeze through coughing into their elbow or tissue, disposing of tissues in the bin and washing their hands. Parent/Carers are not to enter school grounds throughout the day but rather contact the office on 96077979. No Parent/Carers are to visit the canteen. All students must bring their lunch and recess orders to school themselves. Parent/Carers are asked to social distance when dropping off and picking up their children before and after school each day. Tape outside the gate will indicate social distancing. Parent Carers are to drop off their children 1.5 metres from the front gate before 9am each day, as the gate will be closed after that time. As per last term, there will not be a morning assembly. Instead the bell will go at 9am and students will go straight into their classrooms to engage in learning. Again the gates will be closed soon after. As per last term the home time dismissal will be staggered to avoid any congestion. Parent and carers are asked to keep the walkway free and social distance from one another under the current circumstances we find ourselves in. Thanking you for your ongoing understanding and support, Liz Harris
