16.01.2022 Restaurant Caruggi We can currently seat around 44 people and have ditched the double sitting. Thanks for all the patience with slightly chaotic turnovers and unceremonial Bill dumping on tables @ 7.20. Kitchen open from 12- 2.30 then again from 5.30. Open all day for coffee and vino Ph 52296426 for reservations... Enoteca Caruggi We have expanded into the old hallway. Currently in phase one of a few stages of renovation. We have heaps of Christmas treats with Panettone and Pandoro, both classic and flavoured at a fewprice levels. Feel free to come and browse. Heaps of Italian and Australian Italian wine on the shelves.

04.01.2022 We have had a collection of plates on display in the window of an unused area. While wandering in the mill markets Peter from Barwon Booksellers grabbed me and said I've got something for you, Peter brings me to a table full of clutter and reveals a stack of Italian plates that belong to a restaurant association that promote regional cuisine. In the pile was a plate from a restaurant in Massi's hometown and one that he had worked in. It turns out that one of our regulars had his wedding reception at one of the others on display. We have packed up the plates today but you'll find them on the shelves around the restaurant. Small world.
