24.01.2022 My second poem will be printed in the nec hour I have writer’s block at present have patience xxx

21.01.2022 OK don't know where this one come from The Big Puddle Tonight i sit and look at the sea, and i find the sea looking back at me. It calls like the Sirens, 'come ...into my world, see all my wonders, wear all of my pearls. The waters inviting, and beautifully warm, the stars dance like diamonds but beware of the storm. The waves are so friendly, lapping my feet, i go into a trance, the feeling is sweet. But the clouds, they are brewing, a storms on the way, the waves become monsters, the sky has turned grey. Mother Nature can act like a smiling assassin, all beauty and awe in a sort of a fashion. But when she gets mad, it makes sense to run, because she will have her way, until she feels she is done. This watery world we live upon, can give us much joy and pleasure, we can dive among the coral and witness many treasures. But if we let our guard down, the sharks may take our lives, the crocs will feast upon us, unless we are in the maldives. Although even in the Maldives they have been spotted under the moon, but the government tell us all, they were swept in on the monsoon. Anyway just to set things straight, I will not swim today when i prepare to leave this world I will be buried in the clay Under a tree!

21.01.2022 Sitting up top enjoying the heat I’m sweating and dripping down to my feet God I love Queensland it’s simply the best Going Troppo each day I really am blest... I love when it pours the sky opens wide The rain rockets down leaving nowhere to hide We live on a boat so I’m used to the wet When your wet then your wet no wetter to get Humidity’s high my glasses fog up I can’t see my toes but I can see my cup My friends say Caryn how do you cope I look at the noose I put in the rope I love it I say between gritted teeth I’m living the dream so shut up Keith But all said and done when we go to sea I love the blue water and the sunsets you see So do I like cairns I hear you all ask Of course I love cairns as I fill from my flask The people are great their attitude sweet I don’t care that I’m sweating down to my feet

14.01.2022 2nd Poem woo hoo GOOD OLD AUSSIE BBQ its Friday night, the weekend.... what do we want to eat? Lets kick the barbie into gear oops,,,haven't any meat. OK lets go for takeaway a nice and easy meal. grab the pamphlets off the fridge, see whats in the deals. ring up the Colonel will you man, see what meals they do Twisters, crispy strips and pepsi Nah...not for me and you. Macca's well, their just the same, burgers buns and chips, we want something different, to put between our lips.Chinese, Japanese, Lebanese, its pretty tasty stuff but hell, we are getting hungry, we have phoned around enough. we have no meat, its frozen, but what we are gonna do., is throw some prawns and corn and beer onto our BBQ. We will cook some corn, and whole baked spuds, and onions cut in rings, do capsicums stuffed with cheese and garlic......yummy things. To top it off we will all have, Beer, Bourbon, Rum or Wine. The good old Aussie barbecue beats takeaway every time. See more
