23.01.2022 #topSUV this was the best selling category of 2017. There are a few so we have split them into under $70k and over $70k. Under $70k 1: KIA SORENTO - Strong engine, great cabin, a 3rd row of seats and great value for money 2: MAZDA CX9 - Mazda has been a solid performer in this category for a few years now, you know what you get... 3: ŠKODA KODIAQ - The surprise package with a good entry price and equipment list and the Skoda warranty and service package 4: MITSUBISHI PAJERO SPORTS - The most capable of the bunch off road 5: FORD EVEREST - Its a massive unit for this category, a bit plain for the money but is a very capable SUV Now we get to the $70k and above category, this is hotly contested as we get into the Europeans 1: AUDI Q7 - Proper seven-seater, great interior, enough power and torque, decent off-road ability cabin ambience, interior spaciousness and is great for large families, start/stop is painful at times 2: VOLVO XC90 - a great product, has all number of models some better than others, do yourself a favor...get the B&W stereo option 3: LAND ROVER DISCOVERY - the new disco...mmm as far as updates go it is better than the old model, as far as looks go we're not convinced 4: BMW X5 - Still a great car and holds its own, all the refinement you expect, lost some of the polish it had a few years ago with newer offerings in the market 5: MASERATI LEVANTE - Great engine, gearbox and drivetrain, handles well and a good interior, a bot sluggish in comfort mode

20.01.2022 Our Top 5 small cars, this is an exciting category and we have split them into sub $40k and +$40k. It's worth the 3 minute read if you are buying in this category, enjoy yr day :) Sub $40k... 1: Subaru Impreza - great chasis, sweet boxer engine, plenty of equipment make it a great choice 2: Hyundai i30 - Strong all rounder, Hyundai have cemented themselves in Aus as the real deal. Oh yeah and my mum just bought one 3: Volkswagen Golf - the golf has always been a strong performer, with the options available you can spec one up to meet your needs 4: Honda Civic - the famous Japanese brand is making a come back, they still have a ways to go to catch the hedy days of the 90s and the a civic type r, my personal favorite as i had one 5: Holden Astra - meah....holden haven't really done anything in this category, but the Astra is a good allrounder at a reasonable price +$40k category This is where the manufacturers have put their money, everyone wants a fast hatch 1: Mercedes-Benz A250 - it has to be a winner, classy looks, all wheel drive, sure you pay for the badge but hey you want to look good as well 2: BMW 1 series - BMW have alway been well presented and solid cars, if you go the range topping 135i you will smoke pretty much anything else on the road 3: Audi A3 - Audi brings all the smarts and safety you need to the party, the trouble with Audi (outside the RS models) is that when they get to the party, Audi almost always forgets its a dress up party...a bit drab 4: BMW i3 - Its the way of the future.... 5: Citroen C4 Picasso - zee French have delivered a nice car with all the things you need, suits the sensibly suitable crowd
