19.01.2022 I am wishing all our resident artists good fortune in the up coming Gosford Art Prize and Grandma Moses comps. I know several of our past and current team are entering....c'mon Central Coast artists...keep the winner local this year ...there are scores of brilliant artists who reside here and their work is terrific to say the least. Let's knock the invading creatives off their perch this year.

18.01.2022 Views from Casa del Sol this morning. Wet and calm.

05.01.2022 Casa del Sol has some super large pieces on exhibit. Two extraordinary pieces are works by local artist Leyna Weber and her works Dark Beauty One and Two, depicting very chiseled bodies nude and striking. These dramatically eye- catching creations stand at 180x70 and would suitably grace the wall of any business fitness centre or gym at the entrance foyer or in a private home where just a glance will make you want to lose a few extra pounds.

03.01.2022 Congratulations to resident artist David Charles who scored a big hit in the current Grandma Moses art competition. Also to Gilta Risotto Highly Commended and Novice winner Rose Youlten. A trio of great winners with wins and highly commended efforts. All have had their work supporting our team here. A shout out to local art teacher Kadira Jennings and one of Casa del Sol's exhibitors as well, who was the teacher and still is of two of the winners. Well done to all and to the other artists who contributed their creative efforts in making this local art competition a huge and well received event. Yay
