So here is an interesting fact... :) There are two areas in Colombia where you can grow potatoes due to the altitud- high and fertile Andes. One is Nariño in the South of Colombia and the other one is Boyacá in the North of Colombia. Although the two regions are separated by more than 1000 kilometers or 21h driving we are so similar in outfits/wool ponchos, traditions, plantations and hence cuisines. Even our accent is... a little bit similar. This is all marked as the two regions are probably the coldest in Colombia! Now, Pedro who is the founder of Mama Pacha gardens located in the backyard is from Boyacá Your friend Lili, founder of Casa Bonita is from Nariño! If you see the two of us wearing ponchos while we serve you in Seddon- now you know why! :)
