22.01.2022 Last day on The Island Of The Gods . Homeward bound today is final day till next time. The Balinese have many ethnic combinations resulting in some amazing features. I just loved her face , unfortunately she was shy and would not look up!!

14.01.2022 A perfectly peaceful rural scene at our villa this morning .A new addition scarecrow doing his job protecting the ricefields.This scene is not so on the other side of the island where thousands of people are in evacuation camps fearing that Mt Agung will erupt at any time.These are simple village people and farmers whose crops and animals would be destroyed causing extreme poverty to already poor people whose only means of survival is agriculture. I thank Bali for welcoming me here, and ask that we say prayers for those who are not so fortunate and ask the Bali Gods to send Mt Agung back to sleep

05.01.2022 Waking up in Bali a new friendly scarecrow doing his job in the rice fields, A peaceful rural scene to start my day.Although for many thousands in camps on the other side of the island things are very bleak.Mt Agung still threatens, let's pray for Bali and its people that the volcano just subsides and the villagers can go back to their villages to tend their crops and animals just as they have done for thousands of years.
