Yesterday I was expecting the Government to declare total lockdown of all unnecessary businesses but that didnt happen, however to ensure the safty of my staff and my customers Yesterday at 2pm I closed the doors of both my stores at Warilla and Fairy Meadow. I will not underplay the mental angish this has caused me but there is no way this is going bring me down. I started my career in retail 45 years ago and I have been through many economical crises in that time, recessions, down turns etc but believe me when I say this is the Daddy of all crisis and is not going to go away anytime soon. But hey, this will not beat us We will survive this and we will come back stronger at the end of it. Mentally we have to stay strong and focused on the important thing in our life, firstly the safty and love of our family and friends. We cant change what is happening but we can change the way we feel about the things that are causing us stress.
