17.01.2022 When you come along and see Forbidden Broadway you will hear some announcements being made. That person's voice is the Incredible... Andrew Nason Thanks Andrew for all your fantastic work :) ... Andrew Nason has managed to last over 25 years in the entertainment industry, mostly as a stand up without becoming or comedian and has become very jaded and cynical. He claims: Many people think that all comedians are depressed: thats actually not true at all, most of us are on really good medication. Few comedians can claim to have performed for the Queen and Andrew is no exception but he is a stalwart in the Australian club scene and has toured throughout New Zealand, Mordor and the UK as a many Australia tourist, headline act and MC (in fact all of his peers consider him to be one of the best MCs in the world). Since 2009 he has been a regular Comedian on P&O cruise ships. Considered by most to have a luke warm stage persona, he tells a great story, delivers some exceptional one liners, isnt afraid of the occasional shock line, bantering with the crowd . Andrew enjoys long walks along the beach. He draws on his own experience and currently he cant stop talking about things like getting old and dating, and the fact that he hates children. He also enjoys a robust discussion of politics and current affairs over a snifter of brandy, though this side of his performance would not be welcomed at the next One Nation malaise. Oh yeah, hes done a whole lot of other stuff including but not limited to: 3 years writing political satire for on radio (SeaFm), ABC TVs for 4 years writing and performing sketches in his head; acted in TVCs, TV series, pilots, performed films and on stage, written and directed TVCs, worked in theatre restaurants as a waiter, written, produced at his uni. Andrew directed a number of short films, competed in several state and national impro championships, lectured his mates on impro, acting and stand up comedy and appeared nude on stage during a comedy debate. He is also currently looking for a new publicist. The best quotes he could find: Hes far too good looking Judy Davis (and yes, thats Judy Davis the acclaimed actor though in all fairness her words were spoken to a director, probably regarding his make-up. The full quote was: Is this the guy thats meant to be scared of the police? Hes far too good looking. But take where you can get it, right?? I still think he wrote one of the best jokes on the show Peter Berner, star of ABC TVs BackBerner. Thats right, we worked together several times in Brisbane! Lynette has been involved with theatre for many years either on stage or as a choreographer for various theatre companies in and around Brisbane. She has appeared on stage at Sunnybank Theatre in Avenue Q and The Wedding Singer and for the Villanova Players, High Society. Lynette was a Highland Dancer, teacher and adjudicator and has also done jazz, tap and ballroom. Previously she has choreographed The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Shout and Victor/Victoria for Beenleigh Theatre Group and Ladies in Black for the Villanova Players. Lynettes first show with Casa Mia Productions was Dinner in Transylvania and she was very excited to choreograph Forbidden Broadway and hopes you enjoy this wonderful show!
