A look at allergies and intolerance Scroll down to see more content This information is intended to assist customers to avoid the potentially serious consequences of allergic and sensitive reactions. Certain ingredients must be shown on labels imposed by safety codes or regulations. These include tree nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, gluten, wheat, eggs, milk, soybeans, crustaceans, shellfish, fish, sulphites, mustard seed and celery seed.... For full details as to which YIAH products contain the above ingredients, please refer to the product label or discuss with me, your YIAH Consultant. Nut allergy We have plans to introduce a segregated nut processing facility in 2015. Presently, our manufacturing equipment and processes are multipurpose for our diverse range. Products may be manufactured in a facility that contains nuts. Trace levels of nuts may be found across this equipment regardless of our cleaning and sanitising processes. Gluten intolerance We do not use any ingredients that naturally contain gluten. As we do not have gluten-free certification, we cannot represent our products as gluten free, but state that our products contain no added gluten and are gluten friendly. We are currently reviewing the process for certification and the certification costs as part of our plans for expansion in 2015. We are in discussion with Coeliac Australia for a Product Endorsement and GF certification. Australia’s gluten free certification is one of the strictest standards globally. Gluten has to be zero or non-detectable in Australia. Halal and Kosher Our products are neither Halal or Kosher certified. Vegan Friendly With the exception of our Dry Glaze (honey) and Chocolate Powders (milk) our range is vegan friendly.
